Free DDP Booking SUCCESS!!? - Post 'Em Here!

then got through. CSR (where I had a ressie) was not available for Free Dining on my dates (Sept. 22 - 29), so we switched to POFQ. The CM said CBR std. location & POR were also available.

The CM was very nice & added at the end "I hope you don't feel rushed, but we have a lot of people waiting on hold this morning!"

Annual Passes here. I just save the one day and use it toward my next annual pass. I still have one left from last summer that my husband will upgrade this summer.

I was just wondering a little more about this...

My hubby has the annual pass (my kids and I do not) and was going to call and try to book something for free dining, however - wasn't sure how this would all work out since he does have an AP. Could he use his AP with free dining while we buy LONGER than length of stay park hopper tickets?

Why I ask about my kids and I getting longer than length of stay park hopper tickets is, we were going to book a September trip first (with free dining) and are considering booking a trip prior to that one in - July potentially. Could we get 10 day park hopper passes when booking the free dining on September but use 5 of the days for our earlier trip in July, then use the other 5 days on the ticket in September with free dining?

Hopefully that made sense.

Just wondering if you (or anyone for that matter) could clear than up!

Just an FYI

As soon as I called I got the voice recording stating...

"We are getting heavy call volume, and your wait time may be longer than you expected! You are welcome to stay on hold, but we suggest calling back between 1 and 5 pm."

I figure I'll put it on speaker phone, take a shower, and enjoy the disney music! I'm expecting at least a 30min wait with what people are saying...

I am on hold and already have a reservation at pop. I am NOT a disney visa cardholder - should I hang up or can I use the code??

Hang up--deposit MUST be paid on Disney Visa, even if reservation already made. My CM didn't even ask me for the code, just had me confirm I was Visa holder by switching my deposit to Visa (I had paid the original deposit on our Mastercard even though we have Disney Visa).

We'll be at the same resort for the same exact dates - maybe we'll see you there - I know my dd's will definatley be at the pool!!!!!

i too am on hold, I am a disney visa card holder, do I need to say anything other than that to get the free dining??? hoping for all star sports, will be our third time there...

No, you won't get the tickets with the free dining package until you check in.....in September.

You would probab;y be better to buy the rest of the family AP's in July and in Sept just get one day base tickets for everyone and save thm for future trips.

I am on hold too. I am booking for my mother. Is this okay? I have her cc number etc. She's at work and cant book. Should I say I am her or is it okay to explain that I am booking for her. I am so jelous, her dates are flexible so she and her sister (taking 1st trip) can take advantage of free dining. My family is going early august (still hoping for some kind of discount). Anyway, I figure it should be okay to book for her, but I don't want to wait on hold forvever and then they say she has to call herself. What does everyone think???

Just say you are her, don't confuse them! If you get a CM that won't let you book for her, you will have no choice but to restart.

I just ask to change mine to the visa free dining they cancelled my original and changed it over. Had to put down $200 on the disney visa card. They didn't say anything was sold out yet.

We got the Coronado Springs Resort with no problem for out dates (8/31 for four nights). Three adults w/3 1 day base tickets and free dining for $1017.38. We're having a mother/daughter/grandma trip! I started hitting re-dial at 6:55 and was on hold about 25 minutes. I was also able to get all of my dining ADRs as well. Good luck everyone!

I am on the "other" line, wtih both going on at the same time. I have Jungle Book music, as well as The Little Ones Travel Time advertising overtop of that.

OH MY GOSH - INSANE!!!! I started my call before 7:00, and was on hold for about 40 minutes!! Crazy. I got a very nice CM who verified that she was getting a lot of calls for the free dining offer (I seriously can't believe how long I was on hold....were there like only 4 cm's working this morning?!). Anyway - booked for my sister in law and her friend....5 nights POP, 9/7-12, (2) 4 day base tix, free dining all for $895. Wahoo!!!!!

ETA - BTW, I never got an e-mail about the offer?? Thank God for the DISboards!!!
