Hi
I was wondering about the bounceback promo for Aug 09 that we got back in Aug 08 while at POR.
If the dining plan has now changed (the basic plan did, right??) does that mean that the plan we were told we'd get on the flyer will change to the new, LESS food plan?

Hope this made sense! ANYONE??

**I found some info...I mean instead of giving the "dining plan" as they said, they'll now change or have changed it to the "quick service plan" instead?????

THANKS! I am trying to find my flyer as I really thought it said DINING plan not quick service plan (meaning we'd lose the tb) I REALLY hope not!!

If you booked the bounceback in August 08 for August 09, you should have the basic dining plan, or Deluxe if you paid the difference between basic and deluxe.

The only thing that changed for the basic plan in 2009 is the price. Otherwise its the same.

Disney did bring in a new Quick Service Dining Plan with includes two QS meals, two Snacks, and one refillable mug.

Refer back to your original confirmation to be certain of what you booked.

Thanks LindyN,
I am on HOLD right now with Disney to check, I THINK it was dining plan NOT the quick service (that they did not even have yet??).

***UPDATE****
Spoke to Disney CM, was told that the promo I got was for Basic Dining Free plan. SO far they have not offered ANY free dining plan as the "quick service" type, which they are offering for 09. Perhaps they will use that instead in the future.........

Was also told that dining reservations system is being upgraded and that no one can book past 3/09 right now.

Also, Still the 190 days out for those staying on property for ADR's.

I guess this post is now
ASKED and ANSWERED!

The free dine bounceback includes the standard DDP. You can book up to 3/22 except for CRT, CM, and V&A is still at 180

You have your answer, but while the quick service plan was not in effect when we were all there making Future Stay reservations for 2009, it had been created and announced. In fact, some of the UK visitors are being restricted to that version - it depends at what level resort they're staying.

WOW, I had no idea. That is quite interesting!

I am really glad that we are not on CS as we happen to enjoy that one TS each day and really look forward to it.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Just wanted to point out that's it's not 190 days out from check-in, but 180 days. You can then book for up to 10 days. So while you can book an ADR for 190 days out, it would have to be for your 10th day at Disney. You should call at 180 days out from your check-in date. Make sense?

There are some CMs who still don't understand how the system is supposed to work and they will make ADRs for you prior to your 180 day point. For our upcoming trip I called at about 185 days out to ask exactly what date our 180th would fall on, just to confirm it. The CM I got offered to make my ADRs right then. I let her. :)
