I need advice about what to do on a free day. Here's our current schedule:

Sun - arrive, hit MK
Mon - MGM day after brkfst at CM
Tue - FREE - no plans
Wed - AK followed by HDDR
Thur - Epcot all day
Fri - MK all day
Sat - DTD then head home

We do have park hoppers, so we could do part of the day at one park, rest, then hit another in the evening. Would two days at Epcot be too much for the little ones (ages 5,5,5, and 4)? I also worry that another full day at MK would be a waste. Should we try to move HDDR to that free day instead of cutting our day at AK short? Any other thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :wave2:

How about Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach? Maybe instead of park hoppers (since it doesn't really look like you're planning to hop), you should get the plus option.

If I had 4 kids (5,5,5 & 4) I be napping on a free day!!!!!!
Try Epcot & AK...take it easy see how it goes!

For our free day next week we are just hanging by the pool during the day and then DH and I are going to dinner at V & A and the kids are going to the Mousekeeter Club at GF. If you have a free day use it to relax or doing anything that you haven't had a chance to do before.

I think the free day could be split between MK and Epcot, we allow 2 days for each and still seem to miss things....of course, it's impossible to see everything in one trip, but you know what I mean.

How about Putt Putt golf? What resort are you staying at? If at a moderate/deluxe you can rent bikes/boats, go fishing. Go resort hopping.

Just a few name. Hope this helps. We have done this before and it is a lot of fun and a great way to relax. :)

I think going to the HDDR after the AK is a good plan.

On your off day there is always hanging out and resting/swimming at your resort, or you could tour another resort to see where you might want to stay next time. Just riding the monorail from resort to resort is fun.

You didn't say where you were staying, if it isn't the Boardwalk then that is a fun place! We can spend a day there easy! You could have lunch at Beaches and Cream over at the Beach Club, I think the kids would like that!

Or, after lounging around at your resort all day, you could go to the AKL and tour that resort then have dinner at Boma. (I think we are going to do that next time!)

There are too many choices!

Sounds like you have a great vacation planned! Have fun! :flower:

I would spend some time at the pool and then maybe go to Down Town Disney and do some shopping. Or maybe you would like to plan a character dinner at one of the resorts.

I like the idea of putt-putt also.

DisneyQuest is another good idea.

If you feel like you want to spend time in one of the parks, I think Animal Kingdom would be fun for the younger ones. Just spend lots of time leisurely roaming the park and watching the animals.

Of course, the pool idea is a lot more relaxing if that's what your looking for.
