FREE at Pop, Nemo Fridge, Coffeepot & Toaster Swap! FRIDGE IS MISSING!!!!!

As a swapper shouldnt we make sure it gets back to LS and not leave it in the room?
or do they really pick it up?

I think that's the way its SUPPOSED to be done especially with so many fridges getting 'lost' lately, but it only takes one person to not follow the rules and it spoils it for everyone :sad:

NO ONE SHOULD EVER LEAVE THE FRIDGE IN THE ROOM!

People need to understand that they are making a commitment to the swap.
They just don't understand how it can impact others when they don't follow through.
Many swaps have ended because of a bad swapper.
 
I contacted Accountingbabe08 to see if her swapper had our fridge by mistake and she is checking with them.

I will call POP tomorrow and check with Lost and Found to see if Nemo is there. I will let you know what i find out.....

I just spoke with Lost and Found and they did not have Nemo. They do not hold on to fridges. The CM gave me the speech about fridge swaps :rolleyes1 but said she would check with housekeeping and see if they took it from the room and will get back to me.

I also just got off the phone with Joshua in LS. He was extremely nice and checked and said there are no fridges there now. My guess is someone from another swap has Nemo and is using it and will return to LS when they leave. Joshua put a note in the system (with description of box) that if Nemo is returned to have them call me immediately. :thumbsup2

I totally agree with this and I am going to add it to the first post. Because of one person, 30+ people who have signed up to use Nemo might not get the chance. That is a shame.
 
Maybe this swapper didnt know really how it worked anyways. Since she had such few posts.

Not sure, i did ask her to read the first post about the swap. I did email her to find out if she left it in the room or brought to LS.

I am not giving up hope. I am hoping that the fridge was just given to someone by mistake and they will return Nemo soon to LS and then we will be back on track.

I will keep everyone updated.
 
Its so annoying that people dont care to follow the rules and ruin it for everyone else. I feel sorry for those who its too late to get onto another fridge swap.
 
I heard from richlisa and she said they left their luggage and Nemo in the room for LS since they were transferring to another WDW hotel. They got their luggage so LS picked up that. I am going to call again and see if maybe they sent Nemo to their new hotel with their luggage. Hopefully, LS has some record of what was transferred and/or picked up. I will keep you updated.

I called LS again this morning and spoke to a WONDERFUL CM, Wanda :lovestruc and gave her richlisa's room number and check out date and explained that she left her luggage and Nemo in the room when she transferred hotel. Wanda was the actual CM who spoke with richlisa and told the CM who was getting the stuff to transfer the luggage and bring Nemo to LS since it was part of a swap. The CM didn't come in until 9am so she took my number and said she would ask him about the fridge and call me back. at 9:15am she called me to let me know she had NEMO. :fish: Apparently, they had cleaned out LS and put all the boxes in a different area :confused3 but she went and looked and there was the box. She is delivering to suebedo's room now so we are back on track. :dance3::dance3::yay:
 
I agree that noone should ever check out BEFORE getting the fridge taken care of.

SAD : ( I've done fridge swaps the past two years and have never had any problems with LS. I arrived very late one evening, called LS and they had it in my room within 15 minutes. The morning I was ready to check out LS arrived at my door in less than 5 minutes to retrieve it and deliver it to the next swappers room. It was easy and LS was very accommodating. SWAPPING is a commitment to everyone in the swap. I hope that Nemo is found soon for ALL of us coming up.

The CMs in LS I spoke to over the past 2 days were all wonderful and so helpful.
