For the AP holders who received free annual passes when they became DVC members:

Please provide the name and phone # of your guide. I just spoke to 2 guides and they didn't know anything about this offer! What exactly was the offer?

thanks a million!

Ditto!

I was told in no uncertain terms NOT to believe anything I read on the DISboards by the DVC Guide I spoke to (and when we buy DVC this guy will NOT be the one we sign up with...) and that the APs were only available if you bought IN PERSON at Disneyland for the West Coast DVC property.

I am beyond frustrated at this point.

We took the DVC tour in January and had an amazing guide DJ but he has since left the company. :(

Sending you a PM w/ guide info. We did an add-on today at Disneyland and received $10 per point cash incentive plus developer points plus free APs. The developer points must be used w/in 12 months. The APs may be activated at either park w/in 12 months. They equate to Premium Annual Passes in Anaheim or (standard) Annual Passes in Orlando. Once activated, the passes are valid for 12 months use.

We also received full 2006 points ... which is really slick considering our 2007 UY begins tomorrow.

Edited to add: We were told that the promotion was tied to Disney's Fiscal Year calendar ... and would end "today" as the new year starts 1-OCT.

It has been posted that you must have visited the DVC models in Disneyland in person and purchased through the DL DVC Guide in order to receive the AP's. Much like Doorway to Dreams in Chicago, the DL DVC Guides may also offer promotions available only at DL, too.
