Fred, Wilma and Family do Disney - Day 6

What a wonderful picture of you on Kraken. I sympathise with Daniel, I have suffered from eczema for many years and the slightest bit of saltwater hurts like crazy. Friendlys food looks so good, especially the oreo shake.

Laur's princess:

Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures but there is a Shamu coaster, a ride a bit like the teacups but it goes up in the air a little bit, an octopus-type ride and one other (can't remember what it was). There is also the play area, which consists of nets and tunnels (a bit like a soft play centre).

The first one is the Honey BBQ Chicken Supermelt, the second is the oriental chicken salad and the third is the turkey club supermelt with no tomato. Friendlys is probably our favourite low-scale off site dining place. We have been several times now and never been disappointed. Their ice cream is to die for and this is my favourite thing of all time to have there - it's called an Oreo Freeze and it's basically thick chocolate shake mixed with crumbled oreo pieces and chocolate syrup, with more oreo pieces on top. An Oreo lovers dream :)

Thanks Joh :thumbsup2 . Oh that shake looks soooooooo good,we will deffinatley have to have one of those.x.

Great Seaworld day, what a pain getting in though!

Good on you telling your Mother whos idea it was to eat!!!

That salt water does sting even without eczema, poor Daniel, but he did want to get splashed :rotfl:

Great day, love the Kraken photo! I have to laugh when I read about your in-laws, they remind me soooooo much of my dad :lmao:

Really good Kraken photo, we haven't been to Seaworld for a while I had forgotten how good it was.

Your trip reminds me of the one we took with 14 of us including my friend's parents. We all seemed to bicker about just about anything and everything but especially where to eat. You keep telling yourself to relax and enjoy it and go with the flow but you want everyone to try the stuff you know they will like but they just don't know they will like it!! If you know what I mean.

Great photo of you on Kraken

Susan

I'd have been stressed by all the shenanigans getting into the park too, Joh. We had a similar experience there a few years back. Still, it is a gorgeous park, especially with the addition of the Waterfront and the general improvements park-wide. It has a much more laid-back feel than the Disney and Universal parks and I particularly like the immaculate landscaping, especially the beautiful area around the Anheuser-Busch Hospitality Center.

What a clever DD getting that cracking Kraken photo!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 I think you're doing sterling work with the in-laws - you are without a doubt made of sterner stuff than me, Joh...

I love the Kraken front row too.

I know what you mean about the polar bear, walrus and beluga whale area. I think it is because the area is so small and the poor animals do not see the outside. I think this area is the worst I have seen for animals.
