Hey guys! Happy Saturday! I'm off to Orlando today! My daughter has been up there for a state math competition and we are going to pick her up and then maybe go over and wander around DD for awhile before heading back...so have a good one...I'll be back...

Happy Saturday,
John is going to take me out for a little while today:banana: I am going crazy in the house.

Where is everyone? I am so bored.

Sorry. Spent the day yesterday at the Museum and this morning was out shopping. I now need to get cracking on cleaning my house. I was gone all last week and it shows.

Hope you feeling well.

Kellie I am glad that you get to get your nails done. I was wondering where everyone was at too.

I am having just an awful day. We found a bunch of sores all over our doggie and he is in real discomfort. We can not see the vet till monday and we are doing all we can do at home. So I had to get a cone to go on his head so he would leave them alone and now he wont even come near me. :sad1: But his hair is falling out and the doctor said that it could be a million different things not to worry but my DD10 thinks her Butchie is going to die. :sad1: Sorry to drop this on you all. Just needed a poor me moment. I am off to spray him with vinager water that is suppose to help:confused3 .

I hope everyone else is having a better day than me. Enjoy the sunshine if you can.:flower3:

Oh the poor baby. Your poor DD give her a  from me. Do you think he might have been bitten by something? Is there no other vet near you that can see him sooner?

No we live out in the sticks and our doc is ot of town until Monday. From what I told the doc he thinks a skin rash or infection like yeast. We know for sure that its not mange, scabies and ring worm. But the others are scary to think about. He is really edgey today as well. I gave me daughter a super big hug and we cried together for a moment. The doc said if he becomed spacy looking run him into the er vet about an hour away. So we are just watching him for now. Thanks for the internet hug they are always a big help. I am glad the freaps here are like a big family.

Oh poor Butchie! Could they be hot spots? If the vinegar and water does not help maybe you can run to PetSmart, they may have something:confused3

He might just need a steroid shot. My moms dog used to have really bad skin allergies and would get the shots all the time. He would scratch himself raw. They helped for a while but he would have to go back on a regular basis to get them....and then one day.....he did not need them anymore:eek: it was the strangest thing!

Her kitty also needed them for a while- he is goofy- he has just one spot on the inside of his leg he will chew on- the doc said it may have been anxiety:confused3

I just got to sit down b/c this morning I was cleaning the windows in the kitchen- I had to stop and run to Staples b/c I am a freak about getting in nooks and crannies- so I like to use one of those keyboard air cleaners to get to the spots of the windows that I cannot clean well.

That wore me out:lmao: I am done for the day.

I am not sure what the heck has gotten into me- yesterday after work I was on my hands and knees scrubbing the bathroom floor with bleach and soapy water b/c the grout was getting dingy and it was bothering me.

I would really like to keep my bug for a while b/c this is so not me!:rotfl2:

We had a dog that would lick the front of her foreleg until it was bleeding. The Dr. called them lick sores, and there really wasn't anything he could do, if she would stop-they would heal! We tried everything, wrapped them in duct tape, she would pull it off. Finally, she did quit. It was either boredom(although I don't know why she was finally not bored?) or she was just freakin' nuts...she was a very strange dog, I actually think if it were possible, she would have been diagnosed as clinically depressed.

We have had different skin problems on many dogs.. They have all either been treatable or they simply went away.

sorry Nat, for your little baby, and your big baby, too..(DD) hope everything turns out OK after you see the vet..

There is a great product made for horses called shriners spray. It helps with skin disorders, cuts, sores and most everything external. My mom used it on her dog who had sores also and was lossing her hair. It is bit expensive but it works. I hope Butchie gets better soon.

As for me, I am at work for day 2. Half way thru my work week. Then a big 3 days off again. Alas, only 3 more weeks of work and then we close for the winter season.

Just got back from food shopping. I am avoiding making a batch of meatballs and doing a ton of computer work I volunteered for :confused3 . Why do I do this to myself?? I did finish my DS's SSS application for tuition assistance, and I can use the 3's when I complete my younger's form tomorrow, but otherwise pretty unmotivated here. I need more freaps to check in to I can avoid my boring work  .

I guess you finished your meatballs and computer work! Sorry none of us popped in at your time of desperate need!:rotfl2:

Sorry I got the spring cleaning bug from Mad and I haven't been around to check in must this evening.:)

My DH got your spring cleaning bug and decide I should completely vacuum the basement man-cave. Like in, taking the cushions off the couch & moving them vacuuming.
gah.gif

I think I'm going to bed before he comes up with other ideas.

Wait a minute...if HE had gotten "the bug" then why didn't HE vacuum the mancave, moving the cushions, moving the furniture, etc..???
