I saw that- :rolleyes1 Thanks for starting one- that did not need to be started.

I did not want to be one of those people that complain- but I guess if you contribute- then you can complain:rotfl2:

It must have slipped to page 2 because I actually looked 1st

On another note!

If anyone likes stuff from Bath & body works there is a coupon for a free signature collection or home fragrance with any $15 purchase AND a free flowery bag (cute - pic on website!) with ANY purchase so spend $15 and get 2 freebies - I just called my local store and it is available in store as well so avoid shipping by going to your local store.

Where is the coupon for that freebie?

I would like it please. I'll PM you email.

PS-Thanks so much for CFA coupon. I love their sweet tea, but not enough to buy a platter of food. :rotfl: The chicken does NOT taste good reheated and then the savings goes right down the drain.

Good mornin' all! Kellie, have as good a day as possible and we'll be here when you get back! :goodvibes

I did not get one email notification of posting on this thread all weekend! What's up with that?

I love the dresses you posted, Madd....perfect for summer and soooo cute. :thumbsup2

I actually said "awwwww" out loud when I saw the ducks and babies! :lovestruc We have a park with ponds and birds and babies in town. Every spring a few of the babies swimming out on the water would disappear and someone finally started watching to see what was happening. Believe it or not, there were fish in the pond big enough to come up to the water surface and just suck one of those baby ducks right in and then swim away! Have you ever heard of such a thing?? Duckling-eating fish!!???

Saturday night, when there was nothing on tv, we watched X-Files. I bought the whole series when they came out. The first couple of seasons were really good, now, some are getting to be too much for me! There was the inbred family...they were all deformed and quite mentally challenged because they would only breed within their own family! :scared: The child murderer that would steal the little girls away in their night gowns and then cut a heart-shaped piece of fabric from the chest of their clothes to keep as a trophy before he buried them. :sad1: I actually got up and walked out of the room for that one the other night. I told DH "I am done with this for tonight". :sad2:

Yesterday, we took a drive an hour south and looked at some property. This area is getting too built up and it is driving me crazy to be here. I think it is finally getting to DH, too, because he is actually looking at other properties. One of the places we looked at would be perfect for us but it is on an Indian Reservation and we don't know what the implications of buying on a reservation could possibly be. DH is interested so I guess we'll have to find out! :confused3

I'm tellin' ya, ya gotta go further south than ONE HOUR to be warm....

You are talking moving further south- meaning actual STATES:rotfl2:

Suz- I know what you mean about your town being built up. If I have somewhere to go- I cannot plan on it say from 4 to 6 pm after I get done work! The work traffic around here is horrendous I can't leave my house at those times! Also- If you think you might be able to get somewhere BEFORE work- forget that too! From 7am to 9am- TRAFFIC!

Before I started working from home- I worked for another company- 13 miles from my home- not bad right?- It would take me about 1/2 to GET to work- and 45 MINUTES TO GET HOME!!!! 45 minutes to get 13 miles is rediculous!

I quit the job b/c of the commute and believe it or not I qualified for unemployment!!! That is a valid excuse to quit a job! ..here in NJ anyway.

I would leave work, get stuck in traffic, then finally make it to my home town and know my house was only 5 minutes away- BUT the traffic was just stop and go and it would take me 20 minutes from that point. Sometimes I would be so frustrated I would start to cry! I just wanted to get the #ell home-- IT'S RIGHT DOWN THE STREET!:guilty:

I wanted to get out of my car and walk!:scared1:

This is irritating..OK, I said it. Is baby a bot, or what?? Something just isn't right with the
"nice, neat, sterile, computer generated look of baby's freebies.." And why did we go with baby's thread, and not the one that was started first?

OK, i'm done..:headache: :rolleyes1

They should not be able to USE the word SOUTH in cold states:rotfl2: It is too deceiving:laughing:

They should just say........further......down :lmao:

I agree!!

OK, just to keep on beating this poor dead horse..I have copied something from the freebie thread...

I looked over these coupons 4 times and didn't see this one?:confused3

They go pretty fast! Print them all while you can!

First of all, coupons do not go away ..escpecially in two hours...

Second..is it just me, or does a person really speak this way..this isn't the first time I have thought that something just doesn't sound like it is coming from a person..

OK, I am nuts....

You guys crack me up!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lovestruc

You are right....I should not have said 'farther south' I should have said 'down the road'! There actually isn't a farther south in Montana!! :rotfl2:

HRH, an hour farther down the road is all the farther I can get DH to go. He has promised me that, if we win the lottery, we will get a winter place in a southern state some where....I told him we need to check out Georgia! :thumbsup2

Madd, I know what you mean. I couldn't take living in an area bigger than we are. DH would probably stroke out if he had to sit in traffic! :rotfl: He went to Denver about 15 years ago for a workshop and he came back shell shocked from the traffic. His eyes still glaze over if you ask him about it! :rotfl2: I went to high school in southern California in the early 1970's and I can drive 'the real traffic' if I have to but you sure can feel the stress come up over you when you aren't used to it.

Our roads are mostly what some would consider 'two-lane back county roads' with a couple of federal highways going one direction or the other through town. We have been 'discovered' and the traffic and people increases dramatically each year, with no improvements to roads and services. What our county is doing with the tax dollars is beyond us! :sad2: But, even the fire departments are asking the county commissioners to slow down on the growth in development they are approving because they can't keep up...the area is getting too spread out (in its development) and the emergency vehicles can't even make it from one end of their coverage area to the other to protect people or get them to the hospital! It's a shame, too, because this area is literally the gem of the whole state of Montana.

But I digress....

I don't think baby is a bot. I think she might have some computer skills and that is why her posts look the way they do. I suspect she works in a medical field, or used to, and she looks more toward medical stuff when she posts her freebies.

I gotta share this photo with you of the view from this place we looked at yesterday. Funny, tho', talking about roads...this place was on a dirt road off of a really old paved one. I am not sure I could find it again...

IAHD, thanks for sharing the coupon! :woohoo:

That sounds like what our town USED to be like!

It is a small town and everyone thinks they can "scoot" down the back roads now to avoid the major highway which is not large enough to handle all the traffic- but now all the back roads are packed b/c of it!

There is NO shortcuts anywhere around here anymore:sad2:
...I used to know them all-

Even when I had the doc appt in Philly- I knew better to make it for after 10am- so all the people would already be in work in the city- and not on the highway I am taking to get there!

Since we are talking about animal abuse-

I think this one is funny!
pokebadgers.gif

I KIND OF reminds me of this sticker I had to buy at Hot Topic b/c it was just so bizarre and random just like this I peed myself-

It said- "I throw peanuts at old ladies" :rotfl2: WHAAAAAT!? WHYYYY!? I just had to have it.

Back to the poking badgers subject- I think I told you all this before- a few years back DH and I saw a poor little dead squierrel - road kill- but he still looked, fresh and......real:rotfl2: I was so sad and DH said- He looks so cute- I wanna poke him with a stick:lmao: OMG I lost it:rotfl2:

- to this day we say that all the time- where he came up with that at that time I have no idea:lmao:

Madd-every time DH and I see roadkill, one of us says "Oh look how sweet. He's taking a nap.":rotfl2: I used to work with a guy who would floor it if he was driving and saw a squirrel. He would yell out to the squirrel "I'm an agent of evolution!!":lmao: I always thought that was the funniest thing ever. I'm sure you don't agree though. BTW, he never actually "hit" any of them.

Thanks for the pic mtblujeans. Now I want to move to BFE Montana and live there too. I would prefer not to be on a "res" however. As for the traffic nonsense, there is no way I could ever live or work somewhere that I would be in traffic to get anywhere. I hate nothing worse than sitting in traffic. I can physically feel my blood pressure rising as I sit.:headache: Thank goodness we live in the boonies and neither of us ever have to deal with it.
