Hey Everybody! My %$^#&* computer has been down since Saturday!!!! I thought I was going to go INSANE! I have spent the week actually doing things...well, sorta I mean I did start working on my summer tan and got some gardening done, herbs planted, etc... I did NOT however unload my 4 baskets of laundry, BUT a girls got to have her priorities right?

I am so entirely jealous of you MA group! If I could fly up I would I tell ya!

By the way, just a little input on the surgeries coming up...My hubby had his ACL replaced awhile back and it was of course, very painful recovery time...well I found that massage therapy worked wonders for him. Despite the meds that he was taking, it seemed as though (and he agreed) that when he was in the worst of it, if I massaged his head, temples, shoulders, arms, etc. it really helped ease the pain... So if your hubbys are willing to do something like that for you, give it a try!

Okay if you find a cheap airfare you may join us. The only rule I think we have is you need to be in Ma at the time we meet
On the massage I will infrom John you said that was an order. I hate pain pills so I do not take them if I can avoid them

I think I am going to make DH take the kids to bowling in the morning. I need to sleep in (I was supposed to this morning but when I could still hear DS running around on the 2nd floor when he was already supposed to be on his bus and halfway to school - I figured I'd better get up and see what DH was up too. He was making pancakes from scratch...on a school morning!!! God bless him, I love the man to pieces but somethings I wonder )

DH just got home from work and let me know he was laid off today. So he is not a happy guy. Not that there is ever a good time for this but right now is just making him stressed out

I am so sorry to hear of this!! I hope these trying times pass very quickly for you guys!

Hadleysun, I get very anxious and frustrated when my computer acts up....and I growl around the house! You sound like you are handling it better than I would.

Tinkerbean, thanks for the information. I tolerate pain pretty well but I have a tendency to whine through it! So, pain is best avoided whenever possible.

HRH, it 'sounds' funny to 'hear' you refer to us as "Yankees"

I think Madd might be a little overwhelmed by everything that has happened since she has been gone!

After no freebies for far too long. . .I got the Dove skincare thing (I think it was from Real Simple). Finally, something good in the mail. . .something not requiring money, that is.

Now I just have to figure out how to use it with my skin care stuff-since I am an Aveda addict and use their skin care line. Not very budget of me, but man that stuff smells and works great.

Hope everyone is having a better weekend than last, and staying healthy. We are battling pink eye. It has been easier to get the eyedrops in my DD2 than my DS4. It takes some chasing and some sitting on top of him. I wonder if that counts as my exercise quotient for the day- I do have to do it 3 times a day.

10 days until our surprise trip to WDW. Please let all other illnesses stay away.

This isn't free but I have to share. I found the most wonderful face cream at Wally World! It is St. Ives Collagen Elastin facial moisturizer. It is a 10 oz. jar for about $4.94. I have my Dad's facial skin....weathered-looking and very wrinkly and I saw an improvement the very first time I used it....the wrinkles were greatly reduced! I ran into someone I had not seen for over a year and she was looking me over like there was something different about me and I told DH that I just KNOW she noticed I had better skin! This stuff is wonderful and I just had to pass it on....
