My daughter and I went to get the little clinique sample at Dilliards and the cashier had no idea what I was after, so she gave us 2 mascaras for free and called to Macys for us....they did have them so we walked over there and she gave us 2 bottles! We were floating on air, 4 freebies for 1 coupon! And I finished up my "shopping" at the mall with free Victoria Secret panties and a tube of lip gloss from B and B for $1. What a great day!

FYI- I saw on another thread that Target has marked down toys to 75% off if anyone does a gift cabinet like me!! hehe! I am just kicking myself, bc I was at Target last night and didn't go by Toys, bc it was 9:45 and they close at 10! Dang it!

Then when my kids bring home an invite to one of 50 birthday party invites I just go down there and have them pick from one or two things and no shopping needed for their friends birthday and then they make a card for their friend. Man I am a cheap freap !

This is a great deal if you plan ahead! I uploaded a good picture of my kids and chose the green dot card and added "wishing you a happy & healthy holidays from the __________'s" statement and made them my Christmas cards. I am having my brother & sister order me another set so I will have 30 picture printed cards for under $5!!!

ETA: I made a new account for my sister and they gave me 20 free prints so I got the free prints & cards for a total of $1.50!!!

I'm glad I am not the only Cheap Freap!! Haha! DS is only 1 and already we have tons of Bday parties to go to, so it is worth it to stock up! Or, if someone does something nice for DH at work (like a Walmart employee helps him with a special event) I send them a little present to say thank you!

Well the freebies are finally starting to roll in a bit... I started signing up again about 3 weeks ago. This week I have gotten: 3pc laundry set (walmart); free DVD from FP; South Beach diet Bar & cookbook (for DH); tampons (walmart); and the Healthy Kids DVD... not too bad for a week. Am I the only one who waits excitedly for the mail everyday? Maybe I just have too much downtime...

I got that freebie too for the cat that lives in my courtyard. I spilled the treats when I opened them and found, to my surprise, my pomeranian LOVES them!

If he starts meowing I'll be worried......

Let's see....what have I gotten lately? I got the free sleeping bag from Marlboro which was awesome! Got the aquafresh toothpaste, ob tampons, and today I received a booklet of Proctor and Gamble coupons (they expire in Sept. I think). I also received my t-shirt from Vista (which ended up being free with the money I got back from Sunshine Rewards). Anxiously waiting for more!

Well it sure does make it a little easier to bring in the mail! As we say at our house, "our friend BILL" keeps sending us stuff ... It does make it a little easier to open up the envelope from the electric company, when at least you know you got some free undies that day too.

I went to the mall today and visited ALL the major dept. stores that sell Clinique and none of them had a clue about the coupon I printed off of clinique.com and at Macy's they told me they had just returned from corporate meetings and nothing of the sort was mentioned.

So, I did NOT get any Clinique Happy or any freebie from Clinique.

I got my Bare Minerals today, but I have no idea how to use it. It only came with a chart of colors available, no instructions or tips. Could some of you more experienced Bare Minerals peeps please tell me how to use it. Thanks.

Bare Minerals instructions

1) Moisturize
2) Foundation in a swirling buffing motion. A little bit goes a long way.
3) Radiance on forehead, cheek, chin, nose
4) Blush, eye shadow
5) Mineral Veil
6) Mascara

It seems like a lot but it doesn't take much. Just remember to use a circular motion and put it on with lots of light in the room. The first few times it took me about 30 minutes but now I"m down to five minutes. I just love this stuff.
