Hi everyone!

I am in love with freebies. Yesterday my sister was with me when I picked up my mail. The box was crammed FULL of two samples of Dove deodorant , socks, clorox wipes, playtex sport, two calculators (I keep getting doubles of things!), parchment paper, and tide/downy/bounce samples. She was in awe of my freebie skills.


I got the army messenger bag, but haven't gotten a single recruiter bothering me yet. I hope it stays that way (mainly because now I'm waiting for a marine water pack to arrive!).

My son got into the Hot Wheels thing. I was thinking he must not have been since it's been awhile, but I finally got the email.
I also got the Sun Crystals and the Planet Heros dvd and poster (which my older two loved) So far I've recieved 5 freebies this week, but I just re-started doing this so that is not so bad.
Still in want of free undies though.

It's Official!!!!
I now have received enough freebies that... I have started a designated freebie drawer!!!!!!!! and I gotta tell ya ~ there is something exhilerating about knowing I have a drawer full of free stuff and that I no longer have to spend money on things like toothpaste, deoderant and razors!!! when we're getting low... I just go pull it out of my "secret drawer" DH is now thinking this freebie thing is pretty cool and I've become my postmasters hero... all in a days work on the dis!!!

My first real freebie week....I started signing up about 2 weeks ago and I've received this week: Max's Magical Delivery Kid's Fit DVD, Sun Crystals, Tide/Bouce/Downy, and Playtex Sport! I'm now running to my mailbox to see if I get anything else....it's true, i'm now addicted and a certified freap!

I've been really loving all the freebies I've been getting lately. It makes opening my mailbox so much fun. I haven't used any of the shampoo/conditioner samples yet, as I'm saving them up for my Oct. trip. I still haven't received the sunsilk samples yet though.

The only thing I've received that I wasn't thrilled with was the soyjoy bars. I didn't hate them, but didn't particulary like them much either. I'd have to be really hungry to grab one before something else.

My favorite freebie so far has been the mineral makeup. I actually went back and ordered full size containers. I know someone posted before that they had problems choosing a color. My advice would be to find a good base close to your natural skin color in maybe the neutral selections then you can choose a warmer tone, or cooler tone for your other selections. (You get to pick 3). When you go to put them on you can mix the colors together for a kind of custom blend. I have extreamly pale skin with warm undertones normally. I chose the Fairly Light and then took 2 darker shades as well. Since it's summer I get a bit more color so I'm able to mix the shades to make a perfect color for myself.

I've also loved the Kinese sample and the OB tampons. I've been using them for years now and hate when I have to use applicator ones in a pinch. With the OB I've never had an accident, and I always have a perfect fit. For anyone nervous give them a try. I thought I was going to hate them originally, but now I wouldn't dream of using anything else.

OfficeMax will be having a 15% off MaxPerks bag special next week, August 5 - 11th. They will have special bags in the stores and anything you can fit in the bag will be 15% off. There will be some exclusions, of course. I am not clear if you have to have a MaxPerks number to participate or not. They sent out an email that there will be details in Sunday's paper nationwide.

I have a confession to make. I love the Soy Joy bars. I ate mine this morning, and I absolutely loved it. It was chewy and fruity and so good.

Is anyone familiar with the Allure giveaway...at 12:00 I submitted form time after time as though no one else was entering and it just kept saying good luck...if it's the first 100 entries then shouldn't they say congrats or sorry...not just good luck? Then at 1:00 every time I tried to enter it sent me to the rules page instead of form to fill out....am I confused or are they?

Good freebie day today-----got the Playtex Sport tampons, ob tampons, and the Dove sample. The deoderant will be saved for our couples-only trip in October. I'd better not need the tampons then

I don't sign up for everything. I used to do that years ago and got lots of good stuff when the kids were little. I restarted freebie-ing a month or so ago (we moved last year, got out of the habit) and am remembering just how much fun it is to go to the mailbox

I love them too. I bought one (well it was free after rebate at Walgreens). And was thrilled when Walmart offered a free sample. And have since purchased two more. They are great with coffee as a mid-morning snack

Freebies have slowed down for me too. But a few still trickle in.

I went and picked up my free Clinique Happy sample at a local department store at our mall. It is a nice size. I think it is a .14 oz spray bottle. Perfect for my travel bag! This thread, post #435.

Today, I received a calgon coupon-- no wait-- it had a tiny foil packet sample. Now I know why others were joking about their "little finger" enjoying it.
That was the tiniest sample I have ever seen.

Although I did like the $1.00 coupon that came with it.

Today I recieved

SoyJoy .. mine was the apple, and it was okay, a bit too dry, but tasted a lot like a heavy apple newton. I would most likely have hated the other flavors though.

Sheba cat food.. Meko just about went crazy getting a can of this stuff.

Pure Essetials .. forgot to use them in my last wash, so I'll try them tommorow.

I'm having a freaping good week!

I got catfood and the Secret Clinical today. I have already tried the Secret and do like it, I actually bought a regular sized one as well.

The Soyjoy was nasty to me too.

I do actually REALLY like many of these samples and do repeat buy them!

Someone asked if the Senseo was worth it. It is a very nice coffee maker.I actually got 2 somehow (I paid $15 for each) and gave both away to coffee drinkers (I'm not) and they both liked them. They run about $50 at Target, so they make a nice gift!
