FREAP CHAT ~ Everyone Welcome!

I have tried the matching t-shirts in the past. My immediate family (DH + 2 teen boys) strongly objected to the idea....until we got there. Then, everyone pulled on their shirts and waited at the hotel room door for me to finish drying my hair! :rotfl: Something comes over the guys when they actually get down to WDW! On the other hand, last year I took DD (28), her boyfriend, and my DGS to WDW and they not only refused to wear the shirts, they disappeared the day I wanted to have the Visa pictures taken. :confused3 We figure it was their loss.

I always enjoy seeing the really great matching shirts people come up with at WDW!! I am determined to make the tie-dye matching shirts for the next time we go....which we don't plan on going any time soon so I don't have to hurry. :headache:

I'm surprised your teens caved in..shows the magic of Disney!! These aren't tie dyed, they were easier I imagine, and less messy. I could have done a lot better job on them, but you get the idea. I think for this year's MNSSHP I am going to tie dye. If I start out with orange shirts and just do a black Mickey, it shouldn't be as challenging!

Thanks, take it..what's mine is yours..:lovestruc I had a moving slinky along with it, but it was too big with the picture of the misbehaving princesses!

I walked out into an area of my yard yesterday and saw my daffodils starting to come up. The are about 8 inches tall!! We had a really long warm spell for awhile, it must have started them a little early. I don't plant...If I do plant anything, it's never an annual, always something that keeps coming back-I'm too lazy to replant!!

Hope your puppy and hubby (not necessarily in that order)are doing well..

My DH and I have been blindsided by nasty sinus colds, it was so bad DH actually went to the DR:scared1: . Mine cleared up sooner than his, but boy it was nasty! hope all my Freapy friends have managed to stay away from that.

mtblujeans, WELCOME HOME!!! I bet it was a shock to come back from tropical weather to Montana chill. We need to see pics!!

madd, I'm so glad you get to escape the chill from NJ and head down to Mexico. Sounds like a great resort!

Sorry I have been neglectful in my freebie posting..I have been running crazy since Christmas, my littlest turned 8 on the 12th of January, so I had that little family party. Next Sunday I am preparing to entertain 20 or so kids for his "kids" party. I plan on having a treasure hunt (a PIRATE PARTY, madd!!) and pin the eye patch on JD..no kidding. I have a POTC poster and will have little eye patches to use ..we will see how THAT turns out!! So anyway, until after Sunday, I will be scarce. I have so much to do, I know it won't all get done. Next year, I am going to suggest we go to WDW for a weekend birthday party for DS8, me(Jan 4) and DS9(March 17)..so much easier and problably cheaper!

Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well, I will come back in a week, maybe a quickie sooner...;)

Oh yeah, I got my Photopass the other day..here is a pic from our trip....

In my defense, the dorky matching t shirts are for keeping track of everyone. Even DH, Mr. Too Cool, thinks it's a good idea..so we look like a bunch of Disney Dorks..but we stay together!!
I missed this post altogether! :magnify: I am trying to get all my photos downsized and into photobucket and I haven't had much of a chance to sit still since we got back! ARG!! I'll keep workin' on it and get stuff posted!! :thumbsup2

Yay! I can see you all now- great pic!:dance3:

Thanks..I sized it a little differently this time. I always edit my sizes right in photobucket, but the last couple times I tried this..they came out correctly in my photobucket album, but didn't show the edited picture when I copied the image to the DIS-still shoed the original size, and in one case showed the picture sideways which I had rotated in photobucket.. I never had this problem before. so anyway, now I am wondering from your post...exactly how big WAS that picture I posted. I saw it on the post as a large pic, but still fit into the "posting area"...Did you see it REALLY big..it sounds like it over took the frame???

Anyone else having trouble with photobucket resizing??

Anyone else having trouble with photobucket resizing??

That happens to me sometimes if I edit a pic in photobucket- try going back into the photobucket pic and just hit refresh- and refresh the page on the DIS and see if that helps-

Sometimes it does and sometimes it does not.

Did you all hear about Heath Ledger dying today!!!!!????:scared1:

So sad :sad2: Hadn't it been rumored not too long ago he either attempted suicide or overdosed :confused3 Not sure if it was him I am remembering or another actor.

Here is an article off msn.com:

NEW YORK - Heath Ledger was found dead Tuesday in a Manhattan apartment, naked in bed with sleeping pills nearby, police said. The Australian-born actor was 28.

Representatives of Ledger’s family contacted celebrity Web site TMZ.com and said that police have told them that the death was accidental. The site is also reporting that the actor was sick with pneumonia when he died.

It wasn’t immediately clear if Ledger had committed suicide. He had an appointment for a massage at the residence in the tony neighborhood of SoHo, NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said. A housekeeper who went to let him know the massage therapist had arrived and found him unconscious at 3:26 p.m.According to The New York Times, his body was moved to the floor, and after receiving no response from the actor after shaking him, the masseuse and housekeeper called authorities.

“We are investigating the possibility of an overdose,” Browne said. “There were pills within the vicinity of the bed.”

A source told msnbc.com's Courtney Hazlett that Ledger had been turning down roles lately.

The Times initially reported that Ledger was found in an apartment owned by actress Mary-Kate Olsen, but a spokesperson for the actress, who is at the Sundance Film Festival, later told the Times the apartment was not Olsen's.

A large crowd of paparazzi and gawkers began gathering Tuesday evening outside the building on the upscale block, where several police officers guarded the door. According to The Times, city workers rolled Ledger’s body, encased in a black body bag, out of the building on a stretcher.

An autopsy was planned for Wednesday, medical examiner’s office spokeswoman Ellen Borakove said.

Thanks so much Kellie for doing that. I hope you dont catch what is going around!! You're too sweet.

I hope I do not catch either but hubby is sick so this could be a bad sign.:lmao: If it as bad as hubby is making it seem I would be dead in 24 hours. :lmao: :lmao: He is such a winer when he is sick

Thanks..I would have thought the same about my DH..he is a Grumpy Spouse (GS) anyway when it comes to Disney. At MNSSHP this year, I had Jack Skellington T's for all of us and DS9 refused because it made him itchy...I finally gave in, but DH was very insistant-said it was easier for us to keep up with each other. Now whenever we are there, he just says, "What color t-shirt do I have to wear today?":rotfl: I have 3 colors like the green ones, and some old ones that are yellow or navy. The cast members love to make fun at us when we go through the ride a couple of times in a row. Oh well..we are Disney Dorks, what can I say??

One of our days, DS8 and I went out and DS9 and DH stayed behind. then they decided to head out to the parks, too..with their matching shirts. DH thought it looked like he was on a "custody visitation" trip.

As you can see, we pretty much don't care what other people think...unless they think we're cute..

:rotfl: Only the guys would come up with the stuff they do! :rotfl: Also, I have been known to verbally take on a CM or two! They don't usually have the chops to banter for too long, though. :rotfl:

I think Orlando is gorgeous and all, but I rolled my screen up so that his head was cut off and just stared at his chest and tummy for awhile... could have cared less about his face honestly! Try it...you'll like it!

It's kind of like the icy cold flagpole...you know you shouldn't lick it, but you just want to anyway!
