I crack up at the radio ads of the older lady's voice saying, "I put that BLEEP on everything!" I picture a very prim and proper older lady saying it.

So I was clipping coupons out of the Sunday paper, and there was a picture of her in the ad for Frank's. I looked up the product on-line and sure enough, she's there:

She's sweeter looking than the image my mind conjured. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that some people are offended by the ads.

That's pretty much what I expected this lady to look like.

I love Franks though, and I do put that **** on everything. :thumbsup2

It's a fine sauce and all, but I keep wondering why the call it a hot sauce. It's not actually all that hot. Or maybe I keep getting some factory reject mild version instead. ;)

Well... it's hot to me.

But I'm not one of those nutters who put hot sauce on everything so I don't have a big tolerance for it :goodvibes.

I wouldn't call it hot either...but I do call it tasty!

I made some Shrimp tonight withe the Franks Chile-lime hot sauce. OMG  Yum to the 10th power~

Peel and devein about 2-lbs of large shrimp. Marinate for 20 min in 1/4 Franks Chile-lime hot sauce, add about 1/2tsp red pepper flakes. Remove shrimp from marinade and sautee in a little olive oil about 4-5 minutes until the shrimp curl up. Yummm, heaven~:lovestruc NOt too hot, just right.

I love it too, when its on sale, I buy it, I have 2 bottles...we don't carry the Lime Version in my Publix as yet.:guilty: The commercial CRACKED me UP!

I like Franks..:thumbsup2

Here's the thing with me, I can HANDLE really hot sauces (my mom used to make her own with a recipe she got from a New Orleans chef), but I find that burning off taste buds isn't conducive to tasting all of the different components of what makes a great sauce.

My fave sauce is Cholula. :cloud9:

That sounds delicious, Minky! I'm going to try it. Thanks. :)

That's one of my favorites too. I like the green Tabasco, too. It's not super hot, but it's flavorful.
