Frank: The HHI Egret

While staying at HHI last week, we found a new visitor to the area.

While I don't think it is official, he looked like a Frank to me.

That's nice! I looked thru all our photographs and surprisingly, we've never photographed him, even though one of DH's hobbies is photographing birds. He's such an institution sitting there! I'll have to give him a "Hello" and take his picture on our next trip. And he does look like a "Frank".

We saw him year before last when we were at HHI - it was early evening, so didn't get a good pic of him. He sure is beautiful. I think Frank is a great name! Wonder if he and Shadow get together to talk about all the guests?

We cautiously met Frank last week.
He scared the wits out of my daughter who sauntered right by him without noticing at first - then he flicked his wings when she was right beside him and she screamed. He didn't move. I think he liked it.

We have a couple pictures of him but I haven't put them up on photobucket or anything.

We met him Oct 5th. He was a gentle bird as my 18 month old and 4 year old stood about a foot away in awe. HHI is awsome. We hope to go back next year.

Conan, I think we were there at the same time. We arrived on Oct. 2 and checked out on Oct. 7. I remember seeing Frank on the pier. He was watching my boys fish!

We probably saw each other. I am sure you ran into my angel of a Daughter. She fished the every free moment she had.

Isn't HHI a great resort! Never thought I would want to vacation there until I stayed with Disney.

We probably did see each other! If your daughter fished from the pier, I'm sure she saw my two teenage sons. They spent every free minute fishing, too.

I LOVE Disney's HHI Resort! We stayed there for the first time in 2009 on AKV points. We loved it so much we came straight home and immediately bought a contract. We have since added on another. The next one will be a HHI contract, too. My family loves HHI more than they do WDW. I love them both equally!
