FP worth it for Fantasy parade?

Trying to figure out if we want to use a FP for the parade at noon... Any recent experiences and how crowded the area is?

Unnecessary at Noon, 3:00, or 3:30pm.

But, like anything else, you might find that you have a reason to want to use it.
(Like a photo opportunity from a specific angle.)

So my experience was in January, but the current FP viewing location is the same and I have to say, it was one of the best FP's we had. Yes others saved more time (sdmt for example) but we sat at the very front of the viewing location, looking up main street toward the castle and it was an amazing spot. We got to see the parade coming towards us, and as it turned to go around the square. The kids still talk about it and the photos I got are unreal!

We do also like that we didn't feel like we had to guard our kids to keep them from being squished or pushed out of the way by the rest of the park goers on Main Street. We actually got to enjoy the parade with the kids instead of being body guards.

Agree. It was great for us as first timers with a toddler. We had room for the stroller, no one was stepping on us or getting in our 2-year-old's way and the view down main street looking up toward the castle was incomparable. We could move around easily as the parade floats moved around the square to get a closer look. It's fun to do once, but I don't think we'll do it this time.

You have good responses from the others, but I want to make sure you know that if it is at noon, it's not the Festival of Fantasy Parade, it's Mickey's Christmas parade. That is at noon and 3:30 the couple of weeks of the holidays after the Christmas parties are over.

Festival of Fantasy is at 3:00 outside of those weeks. (And is, IMHO, Disney's best parade since Tapestry of Nations)

I would say it is worth it. We did a fastpass for the Christmas parade and it was amazing. Great view, but most of all we got character interaction. Minnie drew me a heart and pointed that we both had bows in our hair. Elsa and Anna mentioned the olaf on my husband's shirt. it was really a great fastpass.

I think we are probably going to do it. We love the parade and we will have 3 full MK days plus one evening that we are planning to pull FP+ for during our 9 day trip. If we had less days, I'm sure that the FP+ would be better spent elsewhere but I feel like we should be able to fit everything in easily. We also have boys so we aren't even trying for the coveted A&E FP as they have no interest in them or any other princess.
