Hello
We are booked for our first visit home as DVC members. We will be coming for a convention so we purchased our theme park tickets at discounted group rate. Wondering if it is possible to link tickets to our room reservation somehow before we go so I can use FP+. When I called they told me the tickets would not be linked to our room because it was a DVC booking.
Thanks
Mirn

Have you done your set-up yet on MyDisneyExperience.com (which if you set up you should use same user name and password as the one you use for the DVC site). That is where reservations, tickets, and FP+ get linked together. On the "Reservations" page, you put in your room reservation number and your ticket numbers and they will be linked so you can start making FP+ at 60 days out. There is no issue putting in your DVC reservation number and thus you were given wrong information. The only thing that could be an issue is the tickets but as long as they are Disney park tickets, you should be able to put in the ticket number on the reservations page.

As long as you have the tickets, you should be able to link them. We just did the same thing in December.

Agreed. I know there are some types of tickets that can't be linked, but it sounds like yours can. Just because they were discounted shouldn't affect it. If you have the tickets in hand, I would go onto MDE and try putting the numbers in.

Also your reservation number should be able to be linked into MDE as well so you can customize magic bands. Otherwise, they'll give you gray ones when you check in.
