FP Suggestions - Help!

Hi All,

We will be heading to Disney December 8th-14th. My fast pass reservations are opening up on Sunday, and I am completely overwhelmed. I have subscribed to Touring Plans and tried using their personalized plan creators, but it's getting the best of me. I figured someone here might be able to help. This will be my daughter's first trip to Disney, and I haven't been since I was 4 myself. She will be celebrating her 5th birthday on our trip, and the trip will pretty much be all about her. We will be traveling with my parents, so 4 of us total. We are doing a lot of character dining and probably quite a few character meets. Any suggestions would be helpful!! I have included all plans I have so far!!

Hello, I went two years ago and my girls were 4 and 6. I have gone to Disney a few times with work and to the MVMCP. We will be going to GF on 12/6 to 12/11. I have listed your plans below and will add some comments. I assume your 5 year old is ok with all of the rides you mentioned. My 6 yr old is balking at some of them. And I'd hate to see you waste a FP on something that she won't ride.

Also you may want to show her videos from online to make sure she is good with it.

There are 1000 ways to do Disney and I just threw out some ideas, regardless of what you select you will have a great time seeing your daughter smile.
PS....think about the memory maker.....The pictures are GREAT and all 4 of you can be in them. Also, it include some video and pics of your family on rides.

You probably won't be able to get 3 FP+ for that day in this short amount of time. I would stick with to FP+. Get one for Pirates of the Caribbean and Jungle Cruise. MVMCP is a great party, and what I usually do is arrive at 4pm as the ticket and Do Adventureland. We usually get FP+ for Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean and work around those: Enchanted Tiki Room, Country Bear Jamboree, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, and the Swiss Family Treehouse. Between 6:30pm-7:00pm, we usually have some Dinner at Peco's Bill Cafe as the food is great there. After Dinner we make our way around the Castle area to get started on the party events.

7:30pm Celebrate the Season
8:00pm Frozen Holiday Wish
8:15pm Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
9:15pm Celebrate the Magic
9:30pm Holiday Wishes

Then after wishes, go to Frontierland and do multiple rides on both Big Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain. Lines are almost always maximum 10 min waits, and can be as low as walk ons sometimes during MVMCP. Also BTMR and Splash Mountain are amazing at night. I have rode both of them up to 5 times before during MVMCP. So yeah this is what you should do:

1. Arrive at Magic Kingdom by 4:00pm
2. Have FP+ for Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean.
3. Work in around those FP+, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Enchanted Tiki Room, and Swiss Family Treehouse.
4. Once you are done with all the above, go to Frontierland and See Country Bear Jamboree
5. Have Dinner at Peco's Bill Cafe.
6. Make your way to the roundabout around the castle and see all the events I listed above.
7. Go back to Frontierland and Ride Big Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain multiple times, until either the party is over, or when you get tired.
8. Head back to your hotel.

Don't Worry about Fantasyland this day. Focus on Tomorrowland, Liberty Square, and Re-ride any favorites from today or yesterday. Get FP+ for Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, and Haunted Mansion. Schedule Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear in the late morning / early afternoon but no later than 2:30pm. Schedule Haunted Mansion after 5pm.

1. Have Breakfast at Be Our Guest Restaurant with your 8:20am ADR
2. Ride Space Mountain
3. Ride Tomorrowland Speedway
4. Ride Astro Orbiter
5. Keep track of your FP+ for Space Mountain, and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. Work in around those Fastpasses the rest of Tomorrowland, Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Carrousel of Progress, Stich's Great Escape, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, and Lunch at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.
6. At around 2:45pm look for a spot on Main Street or near the Castle to watch the 3:00pm Festival of Fantasy Parade
7. After the Parade go to Frontierland and See Tom Sawyer Island (Allow yourself AT LEAST 45 min to explore it, its amazing).
8. After Tom Sawyer Island, Go to Liberty Square and See the Hall of Presidents, and Liberty Square Riverboat if you like.
9. Use FP+ to Ride Haunted Mansion
10. Leave the park by 7:00pm and enjoy your 8:35pm ADR Dinner at 1900 Park Fare

7. See the 3:15pm Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular Show (Try to be there by 2:45pm)

9. Use FP+ to Ride Toy Story Mania (Try to aim for around 4:30pm-5:30pm)
