FP+ strategy with one non-rider

We are four adults, three of us will go on anything and everything. DH gets motion-sickness very badly and can't do a lot of the headliner rides. For example, he can't do Soarin' but can do Test Track. Guessing he can't do FoP if it's like Soarin' but could do Na'vi... I'm trying to figure out the best way to utilize the FP+. Do we use the FP+ on rides he can't go on so he has less time hanging around waiting for us to go through the lines, or do we utilize them on the rides he can go on so he can do the headliners with us with less time in line for all of us? Either way, there's going to be times that he has to wait at the exit for us (he's used to it)...just trying to figure out the most efficient way...we haven't been to Disney in 10 years so there's a lot of new stuff for us to figure out and experience.

Personally, I would use the FP for the rides with the longest wait times. FOP over Navi hands down. Test track over soarin. Either way he will be sitting around for a bit, best to try to minimize the entire groups’ wait time.
