Growing up, I loved the fast, jerky rides, though I never really liked going upside down. As I have gotten older though, I find myself becoming more prone to mild to mid-level motion sickness. In 2011, when we last visited WDW, I had to risk it and rode Expedition Everest for the first time. It was fun, but I paid the price...I didn't get sick, but my head was wonky for a few hours afterwards (not fun).
We are returning later this year and I am thinking about FP+ reservations. My wife and daughter will want to go on Everest and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster (I am fine on the Magic Kingdom coasters, Dinosaur, and Test Track), which I will gladly skip, but how would that work with FP+ reservations? I cannot imagine that I have to book EE or RnRC for all three of us, scan my MagicBand at the attraction (thus confirming that I "used" my FP) and then bow out. My concern is all of us having the option of getting additional FP+ reservations beyond our original 3 if available the day of our visit.
Can I book FPs for the two of them and a separate one for me at a nearby attraction, assuming one exists at a similar return window? Or, must I book for all three of us on the same attraction initially and then transfer mine to something else at the same time? Again, this is really only for EE and RnRC.
Thanks!
