FP+ questions... Really lost

I would think these would need to be installed for all attractions before rollout.

Well if it is ready at hall of presidents, I would think it would be at most attractions.

Ok, it was brought up in the other thread by someone in the park. I probably misinterpreted the comment.

FP+ will be at more attractions than FP, that much we know.

I think that we can divide said attractions into three groups:

- Headliners - i.e. the E- and D-ticket attractions, where it is most useful)

- Personalized Experiences - meet and greets where you get greeted by name, etc., or the old rumor of personalized IASW dolls

- Distractions - Attractions that are there just to make FP+ users think they are getting value for it, where it isn't necessary.

So part of a larger marketing campaign built around personalized experiences. But it makes sense that one of the FP+ allotments would need to be used for Pooh for this to work, and how much extra cash? That would be in the category of logging in 60 days in advance.

I think MagicBand might have been mentioned very early when the pictures of the supposed prototype wristbands were shown.

MyMagic+, if true, looks to be the term for using the MagicBands for non-experience related things like purchases, etc.

It looks like everyone staying on site will be using FP+ very soon. That blog suggests everyone will have a bracelet.

The system cant go live until resort door lock conversion is complete. That happens in late February. That places the timeline around March.

It looks like Disney might be following down the same path as Luna Park Sydney. Check out this story.

It is even called My Experience. That is a little disappointing.

The interaction ability with Facebook would be another "fun" aspect for some people. But think about how tempting it would be purchase a picture in the park by waving your magic band and instantly put it on Facebook. I guess PP+ would be connected to somehow.
