Midnight unless MK has a 1:00 a.m. closing. If MK has regular hours until 1:00 a.m., then FP should open at 1:00 rather than midnight.

I'm not sure that how late MK stays open has any effect on when you can make FP+ reservations.

They open up at midnight EST. This almost messed me up because I live in California so instead of midnight I was able to start at 9:00 PM the night before 60 days.

I studied the apparent relationship a month or two back, and there have been some interesting coincidences. We'll hopefully learn more next week--when I think we'll get a week full of 1:00a MK closings.

With the "interesting" way the "system" works, I would be very surprised if they would have written a software routine that somehow tied FP+ pre-selection start-time locked to MK's late hours 60 days before X-date.

But, as you say, it will be interesting to see if that situation does trigger an hour delay.

There was a pretty good stretch a few weeks in a row at the end of June that availability opened at 1am (There was pretty much a nightly "OMG, it's 12:03 and I can't book" thread). I know my booking date 6/26 was part of a week of 1am FPs opening up. Not sure what park hours were this weeks

I didn't claim it makes much sense. :)

thanks all- I will look at that thread, it seems like I have daily 'questions I didn't know I had':rotfl2:

Are you "very surprised"? ;)
