FP+ question

I am going to HS with DH, DD and her friend. I don't do Star Tours. So the plan was for them to get a FP+ for that ride, but not for me. This means that I will have only used 2FP+ and they will have used 3. Now will this will prohibit me from getting a FP in another park if we switch halfway thru the day, right? Will I be able to get one at the kiosk like the rest, just not thru the app?

Yes, it will prohibit you from getting a fourth. You will have to select something for yourself. A couple of options are choosing something else nearby for you to experience while they are on ST (maybe Muppets?), scheduling yourself for their ST fastpass and just not using it (You will have to wait for window to expire) or schedule yourself a fast pass for earlier in the day that you just don't show up for and it will expire (this way you are all ready to book at 4th the minute they step of ST). Hope this wasn't confusing!

so if I'm reading that right, I could book the FP for ST and don't go on & then I will be able to get the 4th FP at a diff park? I thought it had to be used..

You only have to get passed the time window for your 3rd FP+ to get the 4th.

Could you not scan your band when they go in and just not ride it? That way you won't have to wait on the window to expire?

If you don't use the FP it just expires, which is the same as using it. Once the FP+ window ends you would be ready to book another FP.
