Hello!

Here's my situation. We are park hoppers. We booked a trip for August with a nice pin code offer which included a free park hopper. On one day of our trip, I was able to get FP's at MK for SD Mine Train, Big Thunder Mtn., and Peter Pan's Flight. They are all clustered within a 3-hour block in late afternoon/evening - which is nice because we'll then stay for the fireworks. Now, what if we went to EPCOT in the morning, would I be able to FP anything over there? I "think" I know the answer to this question and that I may not like the answer.....

Thanks for your help!

If you book 3 FP+ for say MK and don't do them all, you can re-book new FP+ after that time has passed. I believe you can book more via the new kiosks even if you've used all of them. But no, if you have 3 booked for the middle of the afternoon, I don't believe you will be able to book any more before hand at anyother park.

My advice - Just get there early, so you don't really need them! :)

No. That is a disadvantage to the new rules. When I was there last month, I arrived a couple of days early. My friend was arrived late Tuesday afternoon so we booked 3 fastpasses for MK for that evening. I went to DHS in the morning and could not get any fastpasses.

No. You're 3 prebooked FP's have to be used or the times expired before you can select additional ones.

Just change your 3fp to epcot and pick the most important one for MK when you get there, most people say the ones at MK rarely run out, but Epcot's top rides sometimes are gone by 2pm

I doubt this is the case anymore. For MK, if you haven't prebooked your 7DMT, there is a 99.9% chance that it will not be available as a 4th pick. Same goes for Soarin or Test Track at Epcot.

This is possible...I guess it depends on what her priorities are. Soarin and Test Tract are gone most days by 2 according to posters on here, but there are a lot of variables. one being, iss she going on a low crowd day, etc.

Also what are the stand by times for all the ones she wants.

Very hard to predict these days.

Are you sure that Soarin is available at all as a 4th pick at Epcot? Are you going on reports from the parks as of the full implementation of the FP+ system? You can't get regular FP's in the parks anymore. It used to be that Soarin would sell out typically between 12 and 2, but now everyone books their FP+s before they arrive at Disney.
I just want to make sure your advice is based on current information. No one who doesn't have a prebooked FP+ for 7DMT is going to ride that attraction with less than an hour wait - and probably more like 90 to 120 during the summer. I would not recommend that anyone ditch a 7DMT FP in the hopes that one will be available when they get to the park...it's just not going to happen.

If you want to do the new SDMT, keep the ones you have.

This is what we would do - get to EPCOT at rope drop and walk on Soarin, Test Track (possibly using the single rider line), and Mission Space. Then head to Malestrom when it opens and eat lunch somewhere in the World Showcase or back at Seasons at the Land. Back at that area you can walk on Living with the Land and Nemo before taking the Monorail to the MK.

If the Disboards had a Like button, I'd click it for this!

Some people have reported Soarin' being an option for a 4th FP+ around noon-1, but I think everyone who's tried after that said it was unavailable.

Thanks for the info LaurenT, we are not there yet, and I do get alot of my information here on the board, again, it depends on what is more important to the OP, if 7dmt is important and she cannot get it on another day, I guess I would keep it. Maybe the OP could do something else that morning or take a chance and wait in line at Epcot. This is all so different from what we have experienced for the past 17 years, we are learning as we go, every family does things a little differently .:)

Great Idea!!! We do this all the time. We love park hopping....just jumping on the monorail and heading over to Mk is awesome and we love it. Great idea on the rides though.
