Going 8 days/7 nights in Sept. I have two sets of tickets for my upcoming trip: 5 day park tickets (bought prior to price increase) & 2 day park tickets (for free dining). Both sets of tickets are linked and showing in our MDE profiles.

Today is 60 days out and set alarm to make FP+. MDE will only allow me to make reservations for 5 days of my vacation. Anyone know how to fix this and have MDE recognize I have 7 days of park tickets without calling Disney? :confused3

I can live without FP+ on arrival day and 1/2 park day before MNSSHP if I have too. I'm afraid if I call I will lose what I was able to book - A&E for DD - while they are "fixing" it.

Thanks for any support!

Are you staying onsite the entire time? If it is two reservations (split stay) that may be why you cant book them all.

Plus...wouldn't it be better to add two days to your five day tickets and not use up your two day tickets at all?
Save those for a future trip.

Agreed.

Thanks it is split stay - didn't think about that.

Planned to go to parks for 7 days so wasn't planning to save those tickets but that's an option. Not sure when well be back (hopefully soon!)

Thanks all.

I was able to book FP+ for all ten days of our upcoming split stay at 60 days..

Do you have different reservation numbers? I'm guessing you do @ 2 separate resorts. Only combine reservations if same resort??

This is my concern for our upcoming stay. Split STAY, 2 reservation numbers. I had to call on the phone for my ADRs for the 2nd part of stay. I was wondering if I would have to wait until 60D of 2nd reservation for FP+. I've seen different responses on the boards. Most are like yours, able to book entire stay. A couple had scenario like original poster.

:thumbsup2

Book your tough to get FPs in your first 5 days. (7DMT, A/E) Then add your 2 park days and book at that time.

Save your 2 day park tickets for another trip. It's the difference between spending $100 per day to enter the parks, or $10 a day.

Update: I had two do FP+ at 60 days out for each reservation ( 2 different resorts - one RO and one a package). Did end of stay first and tried to get hard FPs first. got A&E no problem.

Thanks for the advice eveyone.

My original plan was to add on 2 days to my 5 day tickets and save FD tickets for later because it seems cheaper for future trips. When booking one CM said I had to use these tickets for FD. Seemed wrong at the time but didn't look into it.

We have a split stay and I was able to do all my FP+ together at 60 days. 1st is room only and 2nd is DVC room only - no days between the 2. Our tickets are 10 day non exp with days left over from last trip.
I then have a 5 day gap for USF and return for 1 night for MNSSHP before going home. That reservation required me to wait again for the new 60 day mark before I could make FP+, even though I still had plenty of ticket days. Good luck - the system is often glitchy.

Just to be clear, that CM was completely and utterly wrong.

And, just to be more clear, Missyrose is completely and utterly right that
that CM was completely and utterly wrong.

Thanks everyone. Wasnt happy to get up at 1am to do FP+s and not be able to do all 7 days but now glad it did bc cleared up ticket issue.

We will be a group of six. Three of us have APs and the balance of the folks have PH for various # of days depending on their length of stay.

My concern is that my AP and that of my husband (and we are the planners), will expire a few days into the trip. We cannot renew until 60 days before expiration, but I will be scheduling FP+ for everyone prior to that date.

Will I not be able to book the entire length of stay for my husband and I since our APs will expire prior to the end of our vacation. We arrive on 9/25 and expiration date is 9/29--we depart 10/3.

Will I have to wait to renew our APs until 60 days prior to AP expiration date and then complete the FP+ scheduling for us while the other members of our party will have FP+ available for the length of our stay since their admission media is good for the length of their various stays?

When renewing an AP now, does the renewal automatically show up in MDE or do they provide a new number that must be linked? :confused3

FP+ has created more issues than it resolves--we didn't find it all that wonderful on our last trip and it has created more than a few headaches that we never had with the prior system. Frankly, we scheduled all the FP+ in May and didn't need them since we are rope droppers and the queues were just not that busy to require a FP+.

Appreciate any help since our 60 days is on Sunday. :headache:
