FP+... MDE App versus Disney website while in the parks, my quick review!

Just wanted to relay this tip for those trying to manage and modify FP's while in the parks or even at the resorts.

I found the MDE app to be terribly slow on my iPhone while in the parks. Loooooong waits or complete nothingness at every step. I finally got fed up and logged into the disneyworld.com website from my phones browser. From there you can get into your MDE information, such as fastpasses, dining, etc...

The FP+ process was WAY faster that way. I was able to refresh and modify FP's to my hearts content. It didn't matter if it was wifi or cellular service, the app was incredibly slow while the Disney website was quick.

Thanks for sharing your experience! It's always good to know which works better and I've been reading that the Disney website through a browser is faster than the app for a few months now.

I have found the exact opposite...while the app has connection issues with park WiFi, when i tried the website it was pretty much unusable taking 10x as long to refresh.

May be a provider issue..i have T mobile.as

So a YMMV thing.

I often found this to be the case in June. The app would just spin and get stuck, I usually had much better luck with the website.
