FP - linking tickets that don't have enough days for entire trip?

So I have a ticket linked in MDE (an old 10 day hopper from like 2007), but I'm not sure it has enough days remaining to cover the length of my trip. Will this cause a problem making FP reservations at 60 days? For example, if my trip is 4 days but I only have 3 days remaining on my hopper.

Thanks

No. You'll be able to book FPs for any 3 days of your 4-day trip.

You can check the # of remaining entitlements on your linked ticket. Go to the FP area of MDE and begin booking FPs beginning with tomorrow. Continue for each additional day until the system doesn't allow you to continue. Note the # of days the system allowed you to book and that corresponds to the # of entitlements remaining on your ticket. Then, cancel all the FPs.

Well that kind of stinks - given that the site doesn't tell me how many days are left on the ticket or even what ticket I have linked.

First follow-on question based on the above - can you add more than one ticket to your MDE to cover all of the days?

Related question - if you're making FP reservations how would anyone ever use up their odd onesie-twosie days leftover on NE tickets?

Link all leftover tickets to your MDE and book FPs. The FP system allows you to book FPs for each park entitlement (ticket) that you have linked to MDE.

Thanks - assuming I did it right I was able to book 2 days and then it told me I was at my limit for a 3rd day. So I assume those tickets have 2 days remaining.

Any tips on how to add more than one ticket - so I could use up the 2 existing days on the current linked tickets and then start taking from a new 10 day NE ticket?

Thanks again. You're answering my questions before I even to finish typing them.

Guess I should have started looking at this before 61 days out. That's what has happened to us going so often - I've gotten lazy about making ADRs at 180 days and FPs at 60 days.

Because they are all non-expiring tickets, remaining entitlements will be safely stored in MDE for your future trips. And, you can always check the total # of entitlements by booking FPs and then canceling.

Did you already buy the new NE ticket? If yes, you can link it. If no, you'll need to get a different ticket because NE is no longer sold.

I have a bunch of NE tickets that I bought before they discontinued them. I added another ticket last night, but through the app. Then I went on a browser to make the FPs and the browser only showed the ticket with 2 days left(not the newly added tickets). So I made the FPS on the app instead, since it showed both tickets linked . But when I look at my reservations on a browser and try to modify them, the site tells me I don't have enough days.

I'll call disney one of these days and try to have them sort things out.
