FP+ is amazing

Wow. Where did I call the OP a troll? I said I was suspicious based on their posting behavior. The OP is free to come in and clarify. Which I essentially invited them to do

So, if the OP is busy and can't get back to the Dis, he/she is a troll because he/she posted something with which you disagree? That is not helpful in any way, nor is common sense to be found anywhere therein.

I disagree with pretty much everything in your post, and my reasons are enumerated in many other posts on this forum. I don't wish to list them again here. It would add little value.

Help me here. Where did I say anything that could be remotely interpreted as saying I disagreed with the OP's post?

:confused3

I am suspicious that the OP even had the experience that they had and is not just throwing a bomb out there to get folks worked up.

More like a firecracker IMO.

If your going to make it up, at least grab the 3 MK mountains last minute-oh and a sudden secret 7DMT test run surprise FP+. pixiedust:

FP+ worked great for us in Dec. And it's working again for our April trip. We usually only need one 1ST tier FP at any given park per day. So getting Soarin' three times (one per EPCOT day) is perfect. Normally we wouldn't be able to ride Soarin' the first day we get there because we would arrive too late in the day. And the other two days we would have to race to the FP distribution kiosk to get one before they stopped giving them out for the day. Now we can relax and enjoy our arrival in the park. Same with TSM. Couldn't get a FP for that on past trips. Now with FP+... No problem! :thumbsup2 I just hope they change the rules so that we can get FP+ in more than one park per day as we like to park hop some days.

LOL, 10 pages of responses in 24 hours is a firecracker? I agree the OP was not very controversial but just posting on a controversial topic. I was saying bomb based on the number of responses. :)

And for the record, I think the chances of the OP being legit is much better than being a troll. That was why I said I was just suspicious. Which I always am with folks with low post counts chiming in on something controversial. Not just on FP+ of which I have no real opinion.

:wizard:

There is a difference between stating an opinion that is different from someone's and ridiculing that person and making fun of their choices. Both of which happened in this discussion.

As to why the OP did not return, do you really blame them. They had a good experience, enjoyed it, called it awesome only to have their opinion basically stated to be invalid, made fun of, not a good use of Fastpass+, etc. etc.

I mean seriously as I shared the image with the cat, who made all of you the official voice of what is awesome when it comes to using Fastpass+ for someone other than yourself.

The truth of the situation is actually very simple, some of you that hate Fastpass+ simply can not stand for others to like it, feel it is awesome and when those experiences are shared, the same group rushes in and tries their best to discredit the OP's opinion.

"The truth of the situation is actually very simple, some of you that love Fastpass+ simply can not stand for others to dislike it, feel it is terrible and when those experiences are shared, the same group rushes in and tries their best to discredit the OP's opinion."

I changed three words to their opposites. And the statement is still true.

Yeah, but the difference is obviously that the people who dislike it are wrong ;).

If you disagree with my summary of the traits of trolling posters, then disagree and say why.

And if you disagree with my attempt at common sense, then disagree with it and say why. Don't just put me down.

Or go ahead and put me down anyways and I will let others decide on your credibility.

Sheesh.

:cool2:
You see how it usually goes now? Someone will post a logical opinion and then the supporters start to pick it apart rather than addressing the issue in a logical way. And yes, it happens on the other side too.

Luckily, this nonsense mostly happens on the DIS and it's possible to still find good information elsewhere. Those who provide it here seem to spend an extraordinary amount of time defending themselves which is a shame.

Why am I not surprised? Yet another FP+ lover admitting then rides are not that important. To them.

Why am I not surprised? Yet another FP+ hater who can't get it in her skull that riding kiddie rides is not every WDW guests biggest priority.

Sorry I can't get all revved up about FP+ like you. Like many Disers and DVCer's I go to WDW every year and have been on all the rides a million times. While there are many rides I love for the adventure, romance, and nostalgia, I really couldn't care less if I miss a ride. Quite honestly you guys make it sound like unless you have a FP, you can't ride at all. But whatever...you go girl :cheer2:

Do you consider all rides kiddie rides? You throw that term around a lot and make no distinction if that includes everything or just certain things.

85%. There isn't anything I'd call a major thrill ride in WDW except TOT and maybe EE which is why I always spend at least two days at US/IOA to get my "thrills". Point being, my disney vacation revolves more around dining, touring, and relaxation then the rides. Yes we go on the rides, but missing some happens on every trip.

For some people, based on different tolerance levels for waiting in lines, at certain times of the year, I'd say this is definitely the case. At least for us it is. We'd rather leave the park than wait in a line more than 20 minutes. Everyone has a different threshold.

And this is why I think you like FP+. It is a common theme among those who do. This is not a criticism, dig, or a put-down--merely an observation.

It is one thing to say I disagree, it's another to poke fun, make light of, ridicule someone's opinion on something.

Sadly I am not sure some will ever understand the difference. They use sarcasm as a main tool in stating their disagreement to most discussions.

It is obvious from the comments from others at the beginning of this discussion, that they too felt the OP was being made fun of because she felt her use of Fastpass+ was awesome.

Can you guess the blatantly obvious reply to that?

The OP ridicules themselves? :confused3
