FP+ - how do you schedule FPs for separate rides?

I'm using the MDE to schedule my FP+ for the first time. I'm trying to do our day at EPCOT. All 4 of us want Soarin and Spaceship Earth, but for the third, we want to split up. The girls want Living with the Land (yes, I know, but everyone got a choice and that was DD6's.) The boys want Mission Space.

But when I go to schedule just two FP for Soarin and Spaceship Earth, it adds a 3rd for me. How do I do this? Can I?

First, just accept the FP+ choice(s) the system "gives you," then,
go back into your files and CHANGE the one(s) that you want to alter.
