We will be at DHS on 7/7. DO you think all FP for Star Tours will be gone by 3:00pm?

On the week of the holiday, I'd expect that all FP's will disappear pretty fast.

However, the rap on Star Tours has been that it is not overwhelmed like TSM.
You may not need a FP, at least if you are a bit patient.

(The parks are busiest in mid-afternoon, so even if Star Tours has a long line, it may dissipate as time gets a bit later.)

Given that TSM runs out of passes WELL before noon and it has been there for years, I would say that Star Tours will likely run out of passes by noon due to the fact that it has just reopened and that week is one of the busiest weeks of the year.

We were at DHS yesterday (fathers day) and we walked onto ST!! Now I can't say what it will be like the week of July 4th!! Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback:goodvibes I re-prioritized my schedule and will try to get Star Tour FP by at least noon.

Not really, I've been checking my wait times apps and TSM there is no change in TSM times and the times for ST are only a little bit higher.

Its not stealing anyone form TSM.

I'm not sure what you mean. Perhaps you somehow misread my post??? I was saying that TSM is still very popular and with ST just reopening that it is safe to assume that ST will also run out of FPs by noon.

People were hoping that ST2 would suck some people away from TSM, it never happened.

My lines app is saying that right now TSM is a 54 minute wait with a peak standby at 3:30 of 73 minutes. Fast pass return is 8:35 and FP's will be gone at 12:00

ST2 has a wait time of 27 minutes with a peak of 28 min at 9:00 am. FP return is 12:05 with fp gone by 8:00 PM.

But in the long run, ST2 is just not as popular as you think and FP's will not be gone at 12:00.

I don't think they will run out by noon - from what I am hearing from CMs that work there it hasn't been nearly as busy as they first anticipated. It has a pretty high capacity and turnover rate.

I think you will either be able to get FPs or ride with a ok wait time.

I get it now.:thumbsup2 When you said ST had wait times "a little bit higher", I thought you meant higher than TSM, but I'm guessing you meant higher than the old Star Tours??

At any rate, 4th of July week will be very crowded so I'm glad the OP was able to adjust their schedule to get to HS earlier in the day.:thumbsup2

If fyou don't mind me asking, which app do you have? I have one, but it doesn't have FP return times. That would be handy, especially since we're braving the 4th crowds, too!

I think that is the biggest factor. They probably haven't run all 6 simulators simultaneously in a long time, so even with the increased popularity (and re-riders trying to experience all the scenes), it was easily able to absorb the added load.

On opening day, they expected the line to flow back and forth down one of the Streets Of America - but the line ended up only being a fraction of what was expected. I'm not sure they expected (but they did hope) that all 6 starspeeders would be in operation.

We were there the week Star Tours reopened and didn't have any trouble riding. We did get a fastpass once but the other time we rode, we just did standby. Maybe a 15 minute wait. Just make sure you don't go right after Indiana Jones lets out!
