We're going to Disney and have already booked our FP+'s. We will be meeting family whilst there - but they're just going to Epcot for one day. We're from the UK so as far as they can see, the only option is pay on the gate. Is that so? Assuming it is, can they still use FP+ once the get to the park? Again, assuming they can, could they book 3? This may be slightly theoretical I guess - or at best the times available may be later on?

They can use FP+ only if they have park tickets attached to their account. If they don't plan to buy their tickets until they arrive, then they won't be able to book any FP until then. Yes, they can book same day based on availablity (the popular things may not be available at the times they want by then though)

I'm not sure how you purchase one-day tickets from the UK but here we can call WDW or order tickets online and have them linked for FP use.

Thanks - I'll tell them to call Disney and see if they can get tickets direct - as you say, they'll then be able to link them and get FP+'s.
