Hi all,
I'm heading to the World on September 23rd for 1 RO night at POP followed by 14 nights also at POP on a free QSDP package that we upgraded to DDP. The reservation on both is for me and DD4 only.
DH will now be joining us on the last 4 days. I will not add him to the package reservation as I don't want to pay his upgrade to DDP for 14 days when he'll only be there for 4. We'll pay for his meals OOP. He is only getting a 2-day park ticket and will be joining us for Epcot one day and MK on our last day.
My concern is that I won't be able to book his FP+ to match ours until 30 days prior (if I buy his tickets now), whereas my DD and I will book at 60 days. Obviously I'd love for us all to book together since I will want 7DMT and ETWB, and I worry they won't be available at 30 days out (they might, then this point is moot, but just humor me
).
So here's the question: say I add him to the RO reservation on September 23rd - he costs me nothing and will get his magicband in advance, and I would link his 2-day ticket in MDE. Can he then book FP+ for early October when he actually WANTS to use the tickets or can he only take advantage of the 60 days on September 23 & 24? I'm guessing it's the latter but thought I'd check with the experts.
