FP for Festival of the Lion King?

Since the Lion King show reopened, how are the crowds? Is it a good idea to book a fast pass for it now? Before it closed down from the original location, we NEVER booked a fast pass for it. Is it now necessary to do? I read a blog that said they let the FP people in before the standby crowd. Just wondering what would be best to do. Thanks!

IMO fastpassing an attraction like this might depend on how long your stay is. For me, as I will visit AK twice during my visit, I did book a Fastpass for LK, as it made the cut for me in terms of having six available passes. If I only had one day to Fastpass for this park, I probably would not. I also have little kids, so getting them a "good seat" is a priority for me.

P.S. I have seen people reporting on the boards that the re-opened show is busy, but often has available seats at showtimes, so not "sold-out" per se.
