FP+ for Electrical Parade

I've seen the Main Street Electrical parade from multiple vantage points over the years, but I'm not familiar with using a FP for it. Where is the viewing area and what are the specifics? Is it a good use of the FP+ (I will be visiting with a couple of pre-teen newbies this time)?

Depends on when you are going? Jan 11- Mar 12 the FP viewing area will be at the flagpole in Town Square because of construction in the hub. The normal FP area is in the hub facing the castle. Both are good areas to see the parade, and much less crowded.

I believe there are a lot of better options for using FP at MK unless you are only going to MK at night for MSEP and Wishes.

Wow! we are going end of January; flagpole area is really great! We usually find a spot someplace, but not there. We are willing to try for this fast pass, but wondering if it is worth it? End of January is not a busy time, but MSEP is only on Sat and Sun when we are there. How crowded does that area get? Is it worth it? or is it too crowded? Also, just learned there are two parades on Saturday; 8 pm & 10 pm. We are early to bed people, but thinking the 10 pm might be better? We are just two people!

I think the parades at MK are a great use of FP. Saves a lot of time and you don't have to deal with the stress of the crowds.

Answers to questions like this can be found in the green link in my signature. While the FP grants access to a good viewing location, I respectfully disagree with the PP that it saves much time. Other good spots can usually be found some 30 minutes or less before many parades. Other restrictions in the use of preselected FP further devalues MSEP FP.

We have a fp for it at the end on the month. Will that be a good place to stay and watch fireworks? I know when it's near the hub it actually isn't. But I think we should have decent fireworks viewing from there, correct?

Thanks, I have read your info; very valuable. Wondering how crowded the FP area for MSEP gets? ?do they "pack" them in?

We will be there Mar 7-10. More dumb questions here ... but is the hub the circular area in front of the castle which the parade circles after coming up Main Street and heading into Liberty Square? Also, is this area reserved for FP holders now? On my last trip, my group viewed the parade from that spot.

Yes, that's the Hub. Only the northern portion directly across the "street" from the castle is reserved for FP. That is apparently changing to Town Square soon to accommodate construction in that area.
