FP Epcot question

We have FP for Spaceship Earth and FEA for our visit. (mid-July)

We'll rope drop Soarin then go to Living with the Land next. We're spending the rest of the day at WS.

There is nothing else in the other tiers we want to ride/see.

After we ride those 2, will it be possible for us to try to SDFP Test Track for later in the day if there is one available?

Or do we have to ride 3 rides before we can SDFP?

I'm not sure I'm doing a good job of explaining this question but I hope someone knows what I mean.

I know you can get a fourth SDFP on the app after riding your first 3. But what if we don't have 3, just 2?
Should I add something near Spaceship Earth then swipe magic bands but not actually go on it? That seems like less of a waste of time than standing in line for Test Track if the line is really long...
And I'm not sure we can get SDFP for Test Track. I know I dropped mine to grab FEA.

I can't say for sure but I thought I just read something that said you have to do 3 before you can try for another Tier 1.

OK, thanks. I will check out the thread.
Likely will get a FP to use between our two slots.

What is closest to either Soarin, Living with the Land, or Spaceship Earth. We are also going to stop by the soda testing area (club cool?). So what's the least amount of walking? Want to save my feet for the WS!

Living with the Land is in the same building as Soarin'.

Once you get to Club Cool you'll be close to Spaceship Earth.

You could definitely go from Living with the Land to Club Cool via Figment. Or from Living with the Land to Spaceship Earth via Nemo or Turtle Talk.

We went for the Character Meet for the 9:00 time slot. I was able to move Spaceship Earth to 10. Have FEA at 11.

So rope drop Soarin'. Then Living with the Land.
Then "tapping off" at the Character Meet because my daughter insists she does not want to meet Mickey Mouse (at Disney? So weird but she is 8 so whatever).
Then we'll go to Spaceship Earth, Club Cool, then head to Norway.

I'm thinking I might make them tap off at the character spot while I go in and have them run to Soarin and meet up with them later at Living with the Land. Rides like Soarin' (anything imax) make me really sick. Then I'll hang with Mickey for a while. I'd love to see Baymax too.

Hmmm... decisions, decisions.

Interested in reports of the rope drop lines of Soarin' now that it's bigger. I'll have to do some searching.

@blemon ~ you can take all the MBs or tickets and tap them at the Character Spot. The others won't need them until Spaceship Earth.

That way they can get to Soarin' quickly and you can take your time at Character Spot tapping away.

Oh, I didn't realize that! Cool. I will do that. I thought we needed them on for some reason. That is awesome. I'd like to see Baymax.

@blemon ~ more testing done today. You won't have to "tap out" those FPs:

A couple updates from testing today. I know people have said they weren't able to do this, but I have tried before and today was again able to book a second Tier 1 after only using the first Tier 1 and being past my windows for the two Tier 2's (I did not use either of them). Here are the two Tier 2's I had booked:

I also had Living With the Land from around 1:30-2:30 (Tier 1). After I used LWTL (first ride I did), I went in and tried to book another Tier 1 while past the Tier 2 windows but without using or tapping them. The first screen looked like it wouldn't let me do it:

But when I selected one of the times shown for LWTL again (only remaining Tier 1 at that point), it went right through.

I did notice that once I went back into my FPP's on the home screen that the two Tier 2's had disappeared at that point and all that showed was the remaining Tier 1. I tested the FPP (just tapped and it turned green at LWTL) and then was able to book yet another. (This time I just cancelled it after).
