FP+ doesn't make lines longer.

Your still making the assumption that you can get the FP you want which as many people have posted is not the case, I plan on going on a vacation, not looking from 60 days out till a week before on the of chance something comes available.

you stated your winning in the post I replied to, then your first two words in your reply are you aren't so are we winning or not you seem confused

The only things people are saying they can't get at 60 days out are 7DMT, the Anna and Elsa meet and greet and parades and fireworks.

Unless there aren't 3 other things at MK that you want to do, you should be using FPs for something you want to do.

we were there 24/12 till 11/1 and rode less rides than in our previous 13 visits at same time, so the complete opposite for us.

Nobody ever said that FP+ works equally well for everybody. It all depends on how you like to tour. The same was true with paper FP.

Of course, our trip was only 5 days, not more than 2 weeks.

You aren't. You just wait the 45-50 min for something you really want, and use your FPs to dramatically reduce your waits on other rides.

Plus, as we've seen in other threads, almost all of the top attractions are usually available a week out. This obviously does not apply to A&E, 7DMT, parades, and fireworks. But everything else is still open.

Almost all the attractions! As expensive of a vacation as Disney is I don't want almost all. The legacy system had all available guaranteed if you showed up with in 2 hours of opening!

No, they stay the same. Some are now longer while some are shorter. The net change for an entire day of touring the park is the same.

Wrong. People are pulling fast passes for rides they never did before .. Pirates, nemo, figment. Etc

Here now. One thing I noticed about Pirates - they are still leaving the last row empty since the incident with the guy who smashed his fingers. Doesn't help capacity.

Standby was about 15 min this morning around 11:00.

Disneyland uses paper tickets. Radiator Springs Racers FP can be gone in the first half hour of park opening.

And you can get everything you want. You just can't have a fastpass for everything you want every single time. If you don't think lines are part of the experience, maybe you shouldn't vacation at a crowded theme park.

That's just a balance thing. For us hefty Americans, haha.

Actually, there was no guarantee of that under the old system at all...that's rose-colored rear-view mirrors.

Okay, if the attraction was open it worked that way. Hope your kidding cause your really splitting hairs now!

That's a big IF....what you're saying is, If you tour the parks like I do, then it worked perfectly.
I can say the same thing now.

The entire crowd that visits a park at WDW cannot be there within 2 hours of opening. The place would explode and legacy fp would blow up with it. So, there's an awful lot of people that are denied the right to a guaranteed ride under legacy fp.

Come on really, you could have a fast pass for anything you wanted under legacy. Many exceptions under plus. That's a fact!

Read post 98 you replied to my how is it winning post, with you aren't.

still confused? it's what you wrote.

You were saying some nonsense about how it's not winning if you can't get the FP you want. How it's not winning if you can only the scraps left over...

You can easily get a FP for any attraction but 7DMT, A&E, or the parades/fireworks. So how are you losing out?

The old system afforded no advantages to anyone in particular. Any advantage gained was because the person gaining it did their homework and got off their lazy rear end, and got there early, NOT because the system gave them any unfair advantage.
Gee, how nice. Those that don't make rope drop are lazy.

Don't forget with the old system you had to go to the ride twice. Once to pull the fast pass, and once to ride.

For those of us that couldn't trek back and forth across the parks, day after day, well that fast pass system didn't work so well for us.

Oh, and this from someone that didn't get fast passes for 7dmt at 60 days out.

But you couldn't get a fast pass for everything. There was no guarantee in the past that you could ride every ride every day, which is now somewhat absent.

What a lame argument!

It's a common thread to claim that it's the ability to sleep in and lay on our butts that make us like fp+. Fact is, we NEVER sleep in. We're at the gates of one of the parks every single morning- there's no sleeping in and there's no entire day of lounging around taking breaks. We still like it.
