FP+ date tomorrow. Need advice on modifying.

Hi all, my FP+ window opens at midnight. I've been reading a lot about the modify strategy which basically means pick fastpass times furthest away from what you really want and then modify them to fit where you'd like. Please help me figure out the advantages to this method. Seems like it makes for a long process. Thanks!

If you are happy with one of the four time options the FP system presents to you, you don't have to worry about Modifying.

Those who Modify have exact time periods where they want specific rides. If you are happy to work around what the system gives you, there's no need to Modify.
