FP booking strategy for Dec31-Jan7 trip

We arrive on Dec 31 for an 8 day trip (family of 6). FP day is Nov 1 so I am trying to finalize my FP booking strategy. Below are our park days & desired fast passes. If anyone has any advice for what order I should try booking these in, that would be greatly appreciated!!

Dec 31 - Epcot (will take any fp we are able to book !)
Jan 1 - HS (RnR, ToT, Star Tours)
Jan 2 - AK (EE, Safari, Lion King)
Jan 3 - MK (7DMT, Space M, Splash M)
Jan 4 - HS (Toy Story, ToT, Star Tours)
Jan 5 - MK (Peter Pan, Pirates, Space)
Jan 6 - Epcot (FEA, Spaceship earth, and ??)
Jan 7 - Flex day (will book FP at HS).

I am thinking I should try to book Jan 6 Epcot FP first, assuming that is my best chance to get FEA, then I can work forwards starting with Dec 31. We will rope drop every day except Dec 31 (arrival day) and Jan 1 (not going to attempt to drag my teenagers out of bed too early since we plan to be out super late Dec 31). I am planning to book Fps for late am and afternoon hours.

I would be very grateful for all feedback! It has been 2 years since we were in Disney so I am very excited!

Start with FEA on the 6th.

Then, book according to ride priority rather than a "day." You can fill in and complete your days after you have booked your priorities.

We just booked our fp's this morning. Dec. 29-Jan 5. There was lots of fp availability for everything, including FEA on Dec. 29th.

awesome, thanks! I was assuming that Dec 31 was going to be pretty tricky to lock in Fps for, so will be interesting to see how it looks in 2 days!

I think it will be fine. We also booked fp's at Epcot for the 31st. Everything was available.

Our FP window opens tomorrow. We have a couple of days the same as you - including the 6th at Epcot. Let us know how you do this morning!
