What in your opinion would be the best choice for a pre MSEP FP+? 3&4 year olds, very first ride/attraction of the trip. Looking to fill about an hour before MSEP FP+ viewing. Will have breakfast at Ohana earlier in the day to see Mickey.

I know a lot of people will say Peter Pan, but my kids are kind of meh on PP.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train if the 3 year old is 38 inches (with shoes) and you are lucky enough to score a FP+ for it.

If not, with kids of that age I would go for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh or Journey of the Little Mermaid.

I can't help you figure out what your kids like or not--the comment I bolded illustrates that. All I can do is provide a list of attractions where FPs make the most sense to use. See the green link in my signature for said list. Dumbo, by the way, is not one of them.

I've looked at your list hundreds of times, and I thank you for the info. I'm just looking for more of the "X makes a good first ride" or "x is a good way to kill an hour before the parade" opinions.

I don't particularly care if it is a "good" use of a FP or not, but I'm not sure I made that clear in my OP. We won't be using the FP for anything else, so it's not like we are naively using a Dumbo in place of something of higher demand. It's something in this time spot for the kids, or not using it at all.

Again, thanks for your list. I have used it a bunch in planning our other days. :)

Then I like either Small World or Mickey's PhilharMagic for first experiences. Both are classic and demonstrate Disney at its best in my opinion.

We always rode Dumbo first. Kids love Dumbo. Half of my kids loved Small world, but everyone loves Dumbo.
