We have a package booked starting Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend but are picking up our tickets around 6pm on Thanksgiving day. We are hoping to book our FP that evening once we get those tickets activated for the next day (Friday) at AK.
I am wondering if anyone thinks we stand a chance at a Safari or Everest FP if it's being booked on Thursday evening for use the very next day. Plus it's a holiday weekend. I know there are no guarantees and you can't tell me for sure. but it's SO hard to make plans for that day with no FP and just guessing what we can get done. Also we won't be able to enter the park on that day until around 11-12 (other family flying in and joining us) so the FP times we would be looking for would be afternoon not morning.
I hate not having control over planning that 1st day.
