FP+ availability

How have folks made out with their initial FP+ selections on their 60 day opening. Are there plenty of Tier 1s available?
Specifically looking for Pandora selection when my window opens.

Fop is the only hard one at 60 days, but it can be had. Everything else is available.

Aside from FoP I can book everything else at 30 days out. Booking 60 days will be easy for you

I walked out with everything I wanted at 60 days out including the Pandora rides! Just don't start with the first day of your trip. Book whichever day has your Pandora first, then go in order of importance to you.

FoP is the obvious choice we want. My window will be a 60 + 4. I'm worried if there will be anything left after the 60 > 4s pick over the prime ones

I have gone over it. I'm just getting a feel from those whose 60 day window has opened and what they are finding. Are 74 day finding the pick of the litter while those with lesser stays, 64 day like myself, will find slim pickings

My FP window opened 11 days ago. My first weekend is a holiday weekend (Labor Day). I was able to get FoP for pretty much any day I wanted. Ended up with a set on day 2 (Sunday of the holiday weekend) and I think around day 7. Now, I was looking specifically for afternoon times, since we hop and like FPs to be at the second park of the day. Not sure if that helps with availability, but I had no trouble getting what I was aiming for. We are also a party of 2, so I'm sure only needing 2 at a time helped. If you can be flexible with Day and time, I would think you should be able to find something. If you are a larger party, it might make availability a little more challenging.

Thanks Lisa. We are a party of 2. With my ADRs, I have left the last full day of my stay open for anytime at AK. I reserved a late dinner at my home resort that day. So if I can't get FoP till 6pm, that would work just fine. I was mainly curious if folks were finding no availability at all.

Mine opened this morning (also party of 2). My 7th day had any time I wanted for both Pandora rides. My third day didn't have anything for FOP, but had anything I wanted for NRJ. That was looking at 7AM on the dot.
Btw, you can schedule an ADR hoping for the best and they won't interfere with your fast passes when trying to book them. They'll warn you that you're scheduling two things at the same time, but they won't make you cancel one.

My 60 day opened this morning and I was able to get FoP for three people on 60+4. That was the first one I booked today. I also booked one for another day later in the trip. Start with your most important FP first (don't even complete the three per day-just get the most important and fill in later). I was able to get everything I wanted.

You can fit 3 in there pretty easily if there's enough availability (4-5, 5-6, 6-7). If you want to meet Jack and Sally or the Seven Dwarfs, I would only reserve 2 FPs and line up for those around 6.

My 60 day was about 2 weeks ago and FoP was not available for any time during the 2nd day of my trip but NRJ had plenty of time slots. FoP was available at night on my 3rd day. Your chances are definitely made better by the fact that AK is set for later in your trip and you're flexible on time slots.

Our 60 day window was July 4th and we had no problem getting everything we wanted, at the times we hoped for. Even FOP was available on our AK day, which is our 4th day.

Start with a 3:30-4:30 time frame for the first FP, should be able to get 3 in.

It's been a few years since we went, but we did our first 2 FP, lined up to meet Jack, who was starting to meet early then, (like 6?) then did our 3rd FP afterward. With the park closing at 6 now, things have probably changed somewhat though.

Update: Checked again just now and there were two evening spots available. Just wanted to make sure I didn't leave bad information out there.

Past MVMCP experiences with early FP may not apply this year due to park hours changes, too soon to tell.

I was able to get all that I wanted. But I'm going solo, so that may have helped my chances! I got FOP and Navi on two different days, both around 1:00. I am happy!

I plan to jump on FOP fast passes on any day they happen to be available during our trip, whether or not we had planned to go to AK that day. With park hoppers, you can just "drop by AK to do your FPs.

My 60 day window was last Wednesday 7/12. At 7 am, there were no FOP Fps for any size party (we are 6) for the day we planned to do AK (or any of the other days I checked). Last night, I was able to get 6 FOP FPs for 7:50-8:50. Our day is an EMH morning with no ROL that night. I'm actually okay with the time as we will RD FOP, and I plan to do the sunset safari right before our FP time. Lots of the River ride openings.

We got every ride we wanted, but some of the times are not the best. FEA was only available last afternoon (when we will be taking a break) or around 6 pm. 7 Mines Train also had not the best times our first MK day. I will keep trying to modify the times we didn't like.
