Fp+ Annual Pass Question

We will be in the World for two weeks beginning July 18 - August 2. The first week, we will be in the Contemporary until July 26th when we will move over to Animal Kingdom. There are 7 in our family but on the 26th, our two youngest will move offsite to stay with my parents so there will only be 5 of us on the 26th-Aug 2nd reservation.

We all have annual passes. I have made the FP+ reservations for the first week for all 7. I am making them for the second week and it tells me that my two children staying offsite have reached the total number of FP+ reservations that can be confirmed based on the types of tickets.

We all have premium annual passes. I thought that you could make FP+ reservations for the nights that you are onsite and then you could make 7 days of reservations as well within a 30 day period with the annual pass and the days onsite didn't count.

Can anyone help with this?

It looks like those made during the resort reservation do count toward your 7. You can have more than 7 at once if you have a resort reservation, but you can't have those plus an extra 7 in addition.

Basically since you are using your AP's during your whole stay and not getting separate MB's /tickets during your onsite stay for all of you your kids FP's are linked to their AP's which only allow a max 7 day total for a thirty day window to be used. I have not stayed onsite yet since FP+ so I'm not sure how linking your onsite reservation would work for your kids but it might work for getting them more than the seven day max.

Guest services just told me to call and remove two of the other guests who are coming down for the second week and add my two youngest kids to the reservation even though I know they won't be staying there. I said "So you are telling me to call and purposely give them false information and then change the names again on the day I check in?" Response " Sir, at this time this is the only solution we have for this problem". Seriously.....?

I've added guests to my room reservation who were not actually staying in the room before.

As long as you do not exceed room capacity they don't care who you add to your room.

So if that's what they told you to do, then go ahead and do it. It's not working because you can't have the 7 days for AP in addition to the ones for your week-long resort stay.

I just ran into this issue today.

We're staying on site the first five nights, so have six days at the resort. We then have one additional day added via FP+ because after being onsite, we're staying off-site for two more weeks.

I found that the onsite days count toward the 7 total (which is not what I was told when I bought AP). I currently have seven, and am adding one day on the front-end of my 5 night reservation. The lady at Disney actually told me today if I was onsite for 10 days, I'd still only get seven. Sounds based on post above that she was wrong on that at least.

1. Will I be able to add FP+ for that first night, or will I be out of luck since I will already have seven booked FP+ days and only six total nights at park still?

2. Is there any way to escalate the issue to get the nights staying on property to not count toward the 7 in 30 days for AP? I would have got the 10 day and traded in for AP had I not been told at time of AP purchase that on property nights wouldn't count toward 7 FP+ limit for APs.
