Fp+ anna/elsa already gone!

I wonder how to change a selection for one member of your party.

This was the trick:

When you want to change the Experience, it makes you pick the new experience before selecting the party members. Thus if you had 6 for Space Mountain, and look for A&E under Change Selection, you won't find it. Ever.

(When you change times, it lets you pick the party members, THEN see the times available.)

So what you need to do is first, splinter one member off your party. Change your attraction to something you don't want, then pick only one person. Now you will show 4 FP entries... 2 of them w all your party members, 1 with all but that person, and the 4th w just that person. At this point, you can go back into change (sometimes you have to go back to the main menu to get back to your change list)... and when you change this attraction, you're only changing it for 1 person.

Now A&E should show up, if there is any availability on that day.

Once done, go start trying to copy that party member to the other ppl you want to go with him, one at a time. If you try to copy 2 at a time and there isn't any single slot for 2, the whole copy will fail. Thus, always do 1 by 1. It may give you an exact copy, or put you in an overlapping but slightly staggered window. As long as there is enough overlap that you can both go, you're good.

It will work. Trust me.

If after doing all this, you find A&E is just not there that day, you just pick any other member and copy them back to your original member, and that person is now rejoined back to your party.

NOTE: I *have* had it happen where once I splinter off a time w the one member, then try to book back onto it, it's no longer available, but is 5 or 10 min different. Now, you have to go fix this, and copy your other ppl back to the one, and tweak it a bit. For example, I had a 2pm-3pm at DHS for Star Tours. After screwing around w it, I was never able to get back to the 2pm slot, but there was a 1:55pm and a 2:10pm. Not a big deal of course, but it just takes playing around w it to get it how you want.

There is a little learning curve, but once you learn the tool it is pretty handy.

I just booked the Elsa/Anna FP+ for June 6th for 4. Didn't need to copy or anything like that. Works out nice since it will be our 16th anniversary that day!

:cool1:

How were you able to do that? Is that towards the end of your trip? Our ressie starts June 7th and we're not in our 60 day window quite yet.

Because he's within his 60 +10 window.

60 from today is May 31. June 7th is 8 days into his trip.

Not surprising the 4-slots are open as hardly anyone can book those at that time.

Sweet baby Jesus in the manger! My brain hurt trying to process this. Why on Earth does it need to be this complicated?? Well done Disney. :headache:

The ones I've been able to snag in April, I scored by getting on my computer shortly after midnight. And even then I've had to do one person at a time to get times close to eachother (and that's for my party of just 2.)

I know Disney (supposedly) holds some FP+ back for the day of. I'm sure you don't want to wait til the last minute, but that is a possibility if you can't secure any before then. Good luck!

Welcome to the new ropedrop. What was that about sleeping in and still getting FP? :surfweb:

I was able to book all fp for 14 nights of my hols at 60 days. So I think it's 60 plus however long your on hols for. Unless you are ap or off site.

whoa...that is complicated. I think I get it. Change the experience for 1 member of your party to something else, then after, change that experience again to try to find A&E. If success, try to copy it to another person. Is that right?

I am on a conf call right now, read the Baby Jesus statement and for real had to go on mute, I am crying right now laughing so hard!!!!!!!!
I always say Sweet Jesus and the shepherds!!!!!
You totally made my day!!!!

Exactly. We arrive on May 31st. Aimed for the later date of June 6th during our trip, as I figured earlier dates would be taken by other 60+10 visitors arriving the week before.

I was able to book Anna/Elsa for my party of 3 yesterday at midnight for June 5. June 1 (our first MK day) was greyed out with "standby only." I didn't try any of the tips on here about copying members or staggering times b/c I originally planned to see them on the 5th, however I was surprised they were already gone.

I noticed that too. The maneuvering of the group and time slots worked twice for me after midnight EST

I just booked Anna and Elsa for our trip. I got on right at midnight. We arrive June 1st and I booked it for June 3rd. I did have to do the copy/paste thing. I booked for two, then went back and copied for each person. There are 7 of us total. We all overlap within the same time somehow. I'm exhausted.

Deb

I was also up at midnight last night booking my FP+. Elsa was unavailable under any configuration for the 1st 2 days of our trip. The last day of our stay definitely had the most availability and lots of times to choose. I think the 3rd and 4th day of our stay I could have done it but only by booking 1 and copying. I feel fortunate to have gotten a slot!

Are there any other Frozen characters in the parade? Going in Dec and DS2 loves Olaf. Any mention of Olaf or threads?

I ALWAYS think of Jenasis when I see the Modern Family commercials and they show Phil with his one liners:

Sweet baby hey-seus

sweet and sour chicken

*** ! = what the face

:rotfl:

I want to start a t-shirt business with her phrases

If I reduce my party down to one I am able to book it. Try to do each person individually. You will not be able to schedule a child under 14 by themselves, which could cause some problems.

not true at all. i booked my 4 yr old on her own and another 3 yr old on his own.

Anna, Elsa, and Olaf are seen on the Frozen float in MK's Festival of Fantasy (afternoon) Parade.

(Short video clip HERE.)

I tried last night right after midnight, but no luck. Granted, I am staying offsite and it is 30 days out from my date. Guess I will just have to keep checking.
