FP+ and upgrade to AP

So I was initially planning on getting a 10-day park hopper ticket with the rest of my family of 5, but it makes sense for me to have an AP for the free parking cause we are staying offsite and free photo-pass. So if I buy the 10 day ticket, reserve fast passes and then when I get onsite upgrade to an AP, do I keep the full 10 days of reservations or does it go down to 7 for AP holders? Any info would be great!

You'll keep all your FPs. AP and onsite gives you FPs for the length of your onsite stay.

Only 7 days. OP:Can you upgrade on your 3rd day in the parks?

Or, you can try to Copy FPs if you do lose the last 3 days. Keep checking your MDE FP area to see if the last 3 days get deleted.

I may actually have to call Disney and ask... I will most likely end up upgrading my wife's ticket -- she doesn't really go on rides that require a FP so it may be ok if the last three days drop off.

The "phone CMs" don't have any information about park operations, but that doesn't stop them
from making up answers.
