We are planning our trip to WDW for July 1 - 7. My daughter's 6th b-day is on July 4th and we are trying to decide where to take her for a memorable dinner that isnt extremely crowded. We are going to have a character breakfast so I dont think we need to do it for dinner too.

My husband is wanting to watch the fireworks at MGM and celebrate her b-day dinner at 50's prime time cafe.

I, on the other hand, I have heard that 'Ohana's is a great place for viewing the fireworks and for celebrating b-days. But can you only see them if you get a window seat? (I originally wanted to go to CG but it is way to expensive on the 4th)

Which of these is the better choice, or is there something that we are missing.

Thanks for the help!

Personally, I like the 'Ohana's idea. This is a fun place for kids. You can try and make a PS early enough so that if you don't get a window seat, you will have time to go down to the beach and view the fireworks. If you do get a window seat, maybe you can eat a little slower (LOL) and catch the fireworks from the restaurant. Anybody else have any ideas?

ask her. If she'd like to be in a park for fireworks and with a crowd oohing and aahing, do the Studios. If they have their fireworks show, it's quite impressive.

If she doesn't mind watching the fireworks from a distance, Ohana is lots of fun and they pipe in the music. If you don't have a window table, when I went there people who were sitting by the window didn't mind letting kids come up to the window if the kids were short or knelt down to watch the show. They pipe in the music, so you won't be missing that.

If she wants to be in a park, but not the Studios, make a PS for a restaurant in the park she wants, leaving time to get out and see the fireworks.
