Four more days to DL!

Um, ok. Southern California has been hitting record temps. Today in Los Angeles and Anaheim, the forecast is for it to hit 107. After having record temps here in Dallas and not that long ago of having 100+ degree days for over 30 days in a row, today it's only going to be 78 with a low of 55. I should have worn a jacket to work this morning it was so cool.

Has the world come to an end?

Luckily, the forcast for Anaheim shows it to be in the mid to upper 80's when we arrive Thursday. But still....we were hoping that for all the Halloween festivities, it would FEEL like Fall. LOL Oh well, we'll still have a wonderful time. After some of the drama we've both had to deal with regarding our Sisters group, it's going to be nice to get away for a few days and not have to think or deal with anything.

Luckily the weather is going to co-operate with the Gay Day crowd more than it did for the D23 Scavenger Hunt crowd. Sunday when we were doing the Scavenger hunt it was 102 in the parks. 102 and large crowds make for a tough Disney Day. When we looked at weather.com it showed a high of 106 for Sunday, then on Monday it was 111. So glad to hear it will be much cooler this weekend. Current forecasts show 85 and 81 for Sat and Sunday. YAH !!!!!!

I got an e-mail today about LifeWalk. They are encouraging all past co-chairs to attend, so I think DS and I will make an effort to go.
We have been doing Race for the Cure but I have to work that whole weekend this year so we aren't going.

Have fun Z! We're headed to Orlando this month - staying at AKL but going to Universal to check out Harry Potter... Then DL in December!

What a crazy yet amazing time we had. Despite a few hickups like one of our party getting sick with a bad cold and our two friends not being able to keep up and complaining about being tired, sore feet and "how munch longer?", etc, we all had a great time and fully converted our friends into Disneydorks. MHP was a lot of fun. We rode every single attraction in both parks somehow in those three days. Even a couple Steven and I hadn't ever ridden before.

I'll be working on a picture heavy detailed daily trip report over the next couple days.

Two best lines of the weekend:

Some people thought that we, in our ears, pin lanyards and disneydork tshirts, which is what we wear on every trip.....were the best Halloween costumes that they had seen all day......

A CM who was working at Storybook Land and who has worked for Disney for about 40 years, grabbed our hands and said, "It's you people who keep the magic alive. I wanted to personally thank you both". Then she gave us big hugs.

Best moment ever.....
