I personally think DIS Veteran is a great tag. It won't give us extra SS money but who cares?

I'm thinking Jr, Tony, Bowyer, Hamlin so far. I don't root for the last 2 but they have good records there. Happy's good there too.

I think Carl was really worried about them. He said it would be an awful thing to live with if someone had been killed.

Carl's is pretty cool like that. He really seems like he would be a nice guy.

Do you remember when he had the feud with Tony? Tony called him Eddie Haskall and it was just so fitting. Used that nickname for a long time for him. Now, he's just Cousin Carl.

I read somewhere in Texas there had been some swine flu cases so they had canceled some local sporting events. Honestly, I didn't even know anything about swine flu until yesterday... that is just how out of touch I stay since we don't watch tv.

M&N, I am with you! I personally like the DIS Veteran tag! I am also there with you about reading dumb stuff. If I don't find it on my own my DS usually keeps me in an abundant supply. Oh, well my brain might be totally empty if it weren't full of useless information! Plus... it keeps me entertained and off the streets!

I spoke with our tax lady yesterday. She and her family are a lot like my family. She is a WDW veteran so we did talked about that for a good while. I am feeling a bit more relaxed about our trip now thanks to her. She said the first time they went that she did the complete all out minute by minute planning since it fits her personality to be over organized. She said the next time they went that they ditched the plans and just took a laid back approach and enjoyed the park so much more. So now, between you guys, TGM and my pal, Shelley I've got the little toot attitude..... I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.... I know I can, I know I can, I know I can.....

They cancelled things at UofDelaware. It seems like people here who get it are not having the problems like those in Mexico..more healthy to begin with???

Marie, you'll be fine in WDW. You got plenty of time just to chill and relax and do the parks at normal pace. Some of my best memories are when we got completely "off-schedule". When you are there, please take the time to sit back, smell the roses and just enjoy the magic.

Don't worry. You'll be fine on your trip. As Racetrack said, just take it at a leisure pace and don't schedule too many things. We rarely make ADRs unless there is something or sometime special we really want to eat. Otherwise we take it as it comes or make the ADRs the day before.
Next, we watch the weather and decided which parks we'll visit the night before. I'm such a last minute person anyway.

It's been a busy few days so I haven't had much time on the computer. I'm heading to a wedding this weekend in Northern Ontario. I have to drop my kids with my sister first so it will be about 8 hours of driving Friday and then again on Sunday. DH is working all weekend. Of course I had to pack for both kids, myself and the dog (who is going to the kennel).

At least there's not too much to catch up on! Hope this isn't bad news that everyone's sick like Whgrn...just be busy. I know Pikester is probably going to bed earlier than her students. I think you had better put those sandals away for this weekend Racetrack. Summer will really be here soon.

It's raining here in NH....Boooooo! As much as I don't like it we really needed it as we've had quite a few brush fires around the state due to the dry conditions.

M&N: I really should have gone to bed early last night but I didn't. I like to have an hour or so to myself and DH didn't go to bed till 9:30PM so that had me staying up to 10:30PM. So far I'm not feeling the late hour but I'm sure I will be by 3:00PM when I get home from school.
