Gettysburg is neat. I've taken the bus tour..lots of fun. I've also dirven the auto tape tour without the tape... I do have the cd to use the next time. It's a nice day trip from me. Not to far away is an apple festival in the fall. We love to go to the Round Barn for apples. There is a lot to see around here.
I'm going to a wedding in Richmond in May and then to Williamsburg for several days. I love that place. I haven't been for at least 5 years.

Chello everyone.

Been a crazy couple of days! Went to the beach over the weekend and walked and walked and walked ha ha, that was fun, but it wore me out.

My computer has been acting like an idiot, so it is hard to get on and have a coherent post. I did read back a tad, but of course my mind has gone totally blank.

I think I am going to go to either Jamestown or Busch Gardens this weekend. I hear it is supposed to be cooler (but I love the heat).

Hello to everyone, royalty and mere subjects!!!!
Been a busy day with work and trying to get clothes together for our trip.
Magikitty--Can't wait to meet you and I hope you have a wonderful trip.
In other news we have decided to leave a little early. We were going to leave on the 30th at 5am, but now we are probably leaving about 2pm on the 29th, going to try and get there before the rest of the group and just kinda look around.

Look at your ticker!!! 3 days!!! Lucky!!!

We'll be gone for 9 days but only 4 1/2 at Universal. Stopping in both Daytona and Virginia Beach on the way home. DH always hates the super long drive home so we are breaking it up much more this time.

No plans for Disney for you yet?

You still want to get together? I figure if so maybe we can meet up at the beach (either the oceanfront, or the less busy locals beach..that shall remain nameless on a message board...) There are some great places to eat as well. Lots to do around here, I just never do em'...except the beach.

Hi everyone. Just wanted to pop in real quick as I will be packing up the computer tonight. We decided to leave right after work tomorrow (doing a 1/2 day) so we will be on the road in a little over 15 hours!!!!!!!!!!! Take care of each other and we will talk when I get back!

Guess I'll say goodnight to myself. I need to get up early anyway. I'm running around the county looking for flowers and doing lunch at Bird-In-Hand. I'm actually keeping busy. It's 19 years at 1 am that my dad died. It is also the anniversary of my friend's mom who lives near me. Her husband died 2 years ago. So I'm taking the ladies around for one of my famous drives to where ever we end up...looking for flowers as we go. I don't actually need too many flowers now. It's just an excuse. At least it won't be as hot.

Happy Spring Day! It's 55 but cloudy. I really don't want rain since I'm driving around looking for farmers to be selling flowers. I'll be fun though---eating at one of my favorite places. It's always a chicken corn soup kind of day for me.

Well, it was supposed to be sunny and 60s today. However its only in the 40s and cloudy. Ugg!!! I want to plant some bushes and fill in our landscaping with some new woodchips this weekend so it better get nicer.

We had a good day. Both mom's enjoyed riding around and getting some flowers. I did get more than I thought...but not really very many. I have 2 pots and a handing basket to do. I got some perennials too...don't know the names but they were pretty and purple. I'm going back Monday with someone who knows more about flowers and may decide to get more. I really wanted 2azaleas for the corner of my house I cannot see. I don't ususally come down the street in that direction and another bush hides the corner. But I didn't see any today.

I was reading dumb stuff last night. I really didn't notice it being any slower than my normal slowski computer. Read one bragging about getting a tag...didn't think they would having so many posts. They got tagged It from a thread about doing stupid things. I just had to respond to that one. So I said that 'I've got lots of posts and no tag. I guess I don't do stupid enough things! But I'm happy for you.' Well Pepper found it and said that the 'tag fairy clearly does not hang around the TK'r thread. We say lots of weird things...' At least she didn't just say I say lots of weird things...so Thanks Pepper.
