We have 4 DS(9,8,4&1). My 4yo LOVES Cinderella and has to eat at the castle to see her. We already have our PS, but I feel weird taking all boys to a princess breakfast. He will be crushed if we don't go. I was thinking of getting him a "I want to be prince charming" shirt made. What do you think?

I think a Prince Charming shirt sounds great! Maybe if the DS's don't want to go you could just take DS 4 and have a special "Cinderella" moment. If the DS's want to go . . . then just have a wonderful time! princess:

My DD3 and DS5 love Cinderella. DD got the DVD for her 3rd Bday. DS asks to watch more than DD. We hope to do WDW next May. DS and DD have 3 cousins going with us. All boys (11 yr old twins & 5 yr old) We will all be doing the breakfast thing at the castle. I do realize that I am taking 1 girl and you aren't, but I also am taking 4 boys too. I think it is wonderful that you want to take him. If I saw you, I would think it was adorable. Don't worry about what people think, you will never see them again. (probably) ;) If the older boys don't want to go, maybe they can do something with Dad while you and DS have a little QT together. Just my opinion. :teeth:

On our last trip, I wanted to do breakfast with the Princesses in Epcot. I only have 1 son who is 7. I talked him into looking forward to seeing the ladies. It was one of the best memories of the trip! They all address him as Prince Charming and flirted a bit....it was not a big deal to anyone...and we were not the only family with only boys...there were 2 others while we were in the restaurant.

I was just looking back at our pictures on Wed and had to laugh...my little guy has the funniest look on his face with each of the princesses...I think he was a bit smitten with them.. :goodvibes

I say GO FOR IT....you will not be the only one and it will create wonderful memories..

I dressed my DS3 (at the time) up as General Shang (Mulan's Prince Charming) and he was a hit with Cindy's Prince Charming.

The reason I chose Shang was I couldn't find any other costumes for him, because, well you know, Disney doesn't care for boys:rotfl: (No flames please, I have a boy and a girl and I know that my girls has more Disney stuff than my boy.)

Just to let you know that we were just there last week and now they give all the little princes their own sword. Everyone waves them in the air and makes a wish on their wishing star. But be careful, they are very sharp!

I think you should just accept that this is what he likes and not worry about what other people might think...it's none of their business!!! The shirt sounds adorable!! Personally, I would not think twice about taking my ds there if that's what he wanted to do. I don't understand the whole "boys can't like princesses" thing AT ALL. Maybe it's just me? :confused3 Go and have a great time! :wizard:

I took my DD and DS to 1900 Park Faire and had to get a Pater Pan coustume for him since there were no Prince outfits. DD went as Jasmine. I am thinking of making a homemade Aladdin coustume for DS since DH brough hoime some Morrocan clothes for Ds I think I can make it look like the Prince Ali outfit.

If the 2 older ones aren't going to give you grief I say go for it.

My 4 yo DS loves the princesses too! Has since he was 2 and has all of the dolls to prove it. The first year we took him to eat at the castle -- it was my birthday. He wore his shirt I made with all the princesses on it that said, "Love those princesses!" He was a big hit and my 7 yo DS agreed that it was really neat to eat in the castle. Princess Aurora even remembed my youngest later in the week at the tent in Toontown.

This year we went to the Princess Lunch in Norway for Valentine's Day. My youngest wore a shirt with pictures of the princesses that said, "Princesses, won't you be my Valentine?" He was a big hit. Snow White gave him a kiss on the forehead and even paid him lots of attention. We weren't the only table with boys. One of the boys from the other table had tons of kisses. When we took him to the tent in Toontown days later, Snow White remembered him. It is these little touches that the ladies do that make the experience so magical. Can you imagine how many kids they see in one day and for them to remember my DS?

I think that if your DS likes the princesses, he should get to see them. They really do make a big deal out of the boys. They definitely won't feel out of place and it is a whole different experience. My older DS (he's 9) actually enjoys the experience too and it gives him a chance to get more autographs in his book.

When we went in January we planned the PSL for our DD4. Our DS who turned 2 on the trip was the hit of the princesses. He left there with lipstick kiss prints all over his face and would NOT let me wash them! He was flirting with all the pricesses and they really played it up. We saw lots of other little boys everywhere, I would go for it! They are only little for a short time and the next trip he may not have an interest at all!

Thank you everyone! I am sooooo glad that the boys won't be left out. I hope my little ones get lots of kisses. That would make a great picture. Can't believe I have to wait til August, it seems so far away.
