We are going on our first family Disney World trip. Me DH34(going on 12) and DS11. I wanted to decorate the windows but the boys werent getting to into it. If I didn't do it I would be afraid we would get there and the DS11 would be disappointed once he saw others with decorated windows.
Today we were out running errands and went to this place called Party Pig Superstore. I don't know if they are a nationwide chain but they sell birthday and other party supplies.
The guys started looking around and found lots of cool things. They were putting on hats, playing with plastic swords etc.. I asked them to keep their eyes peeled for disney stuff.
I lost them for a while and then I found them playing intently down an aisle. As I walked up to meet them DS puts on a pirate hat and says "Mom, too bad we can't have a pirate room" and I reply " Oh, but we CAN have a pirate room"
That's all I had to say. We walked out with Pirates of the caribbean window clings, a huge cardboard hanging pirate ship, pirate rubber duckies, a treasure chest, and pirates plates and cups for the suite!! they had a ton of decorations.
We look around more and they had sections for Toy Story, Incredibles, Cars, Little Mermaid, Snow White, Lion King, tons of stuff.
So, If you have a Party Pig or simular store, check it out.
I was disappointed that they didn't have any Mickey, but they had just about everything else.
