Found great deal on tickets - Will it work?

The don't look like the regular tickets from the booth. If you print at home, it will be a regular sheet of paper with a bar coded ticket printed on it. If you have them mailed to you, they look like paper Ticketmaster tickets.

As far as I've heard, there have been a few people whose self-printed bar codes haven't scanned at the gate. This might have been an issue with the quality of their printer or maybe there's an occasional glitch with Ticketmaster's integration with Universal's gate system. Not sure. In any case, the ticket were always honored. I've only heard of a small handful of these problems.

Great Thanks Mary. I am having mine mailed to me.

It's $49.99 plus tax. Comes out to $53 something.

I bought 3 tickets with codes from ticketmaster plus 1 I won thanks to these boards and received them 7 days later in mail. Still waiting for Superbowl ticket from Universal.
Thank You Mary! With all the money you have saved me staying 2 nights on site at RPR and have reservation at Tschop Chop. Now I need the courage to figure out Hotwire for Hyatt MCO and Radisson.:rotfl:

I don't know what happened to my March mousesavers (I still have Feb.) but I would really like to get the Ticketmaster code. Could someone please send me the March newsletter?

This is my first post on the DIS...but I've lurked for years and have learned so much from ya'll! Thanks!!!

We bought the tickets off ticketmaster and used the paper tickets last week and they did not scan...but they just punched the numbers in and we had no problem...and yes they did allow us to hop to both parks...

How long does it take them to mail the tickets? I ordered mine about 9 days ago. I am not worried since my Vacation is in Sept. Do they ship them right away?

I tried the ticketmaster code today (through Mousesavers) and it no longer works-waaaaah--just the other day it was still valid. However, I am a mousesavers subscriber, and noticed a different ticket discount available to AmEx cardholders. It is essentially the same deal as the ticketmaster large group offer, but is available through a special Universal link. You have to go to the Mousesavers site to get the link. They have both 1 day/2 parks and 2 day/2 parks. It is only good till May or June-can't remember exact limitations.

I didn't bother going to Costco since there I don't know if ours is carrying them, and there is little chance we will be back in Orlando within the next 3 months. Anyway, if anyone is looking for a deal in the range of the ticketmaster offer, this one is really close. We got 2 adult, 2 kids (3-9) tickets and it came out around $306 with tax. If you are going for more than 2 days, skip this deal and go with the unlimited $99 ones,

I ordered from Ticketmaster about ten days ago, using a Mousesavers promo code, but the tickets haven't arrived yet. My trip won't be until August; still, this seems like a leisurely attitude towards order fulfillment. I did not use the print-at-home option because I've had problems at the gate with those tickets not scanning properly. Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait for the tix to show up.

Found this on mousesavers.

With a promo code they provide, you can get a 2 day/2 park pass for $79.99 for an adult, and just $67.99 for a child off of Ticketmaster. For a family of 3, that's a savings of about $70 off of AAA's price.

Has anyone used these tickets with no problems?

I have used these tickets on two occassions, and had wonderful results both times. We purchased 8 last time, 5 adults, and 3 kids. The hardest part was you can't get them wet or they won't work next day. I printed them at home on my computer, so I printed 2 copies of each ticket to prevent that from being a problem. Good Luck

I guess I deleted my mousesavers newsletter:eek: I've searched through all my mail and I don't have this one. Anyone willing to help me out?
I've got a free ticket coming from the superbowl offer but still need to purchase more for the rest of the family.

Would love to do this deal.
Thanks!

I guess everything is good. My tickets just showed up today and I ordered mine on the 2nd 10 days ago.

Go to mousesavers and click the American Express link. That gives you an offer that is the same prices. The only catch is that you have to use an AmEx to pay.

But the feedback is excellent!! Oh, what to do....what to do.... :confused3

I just bought and used tickets from this supplier. My dates were Feb, 28-March 6th, that I travelled. He gives you certificates that you take to "Will Call". I got one day Disney tickets for $63. We bought four. Also bought a Universal 7 day pass for $79.99 from the same supplier. We had absolutley no problems getting our tickets as they come right from Disney and Universal in the end....

Disney told me this is one of their Wholesalers and is legit....

I won't hestitate to use him again!!!!

Does anyone know what "electronic pickup" means in regards to the american express ticket option?

There are kiosks at the entrance to the parks. You input your confirmation number and the credit card used to purchase the tickets and out will pop your tickets.
